Chapter 302 A Gentle Kiss
"Sure," another girl chimed in with a smile.
A few of the guys, bored anyway, nodded. It was exciting and fun.
"Same rules: whoever gets the ace has to kiss a random girl."
Raymond sighed. "So boring. You guys play. I'm going out for a smoke."
Colby nudged Adrian. "What do you say, Adrian? Want to join?"
Adrian pursed his lips and nodded.
Lina dealt the cards, making sure to give the ace to Adrian.
Kissing such a great guy was something she never dreamed of. With only three girls, each had a one-third chance.
"It's not me. Who's the lucky one?" a guy said, looking at his three of spades.
Colby showed his card, and it wasn't him either.
Everyone revealed their cards. Adrian frowned at the ace in his hand.
Lina's cheeks flushed. "Oh my, Mr. Howard, it's you."
Adrian gave a faint, disdainful smile.
Colby laughed, "Adrian, you sure have good luck tonight."
Lina said, "You can choose the dare or truth." She looked at Adrian's handsome profile, blushing. She had seen many men, especially wealthy ones, but none compared to Adrian in looks and demeanor.
Adrian stood up and walked around the table. Lina, feeling shy, thought he was coming for her. She stood up excitedly, only to realize he walked past her.
Since Adrian entered the room, Natalie had been tense. Suddenly, a pair of men's shoes appeared in front of her. She stared blankly at the high-end shoes.
The air carried a familiar masculine scent.
Natalie looked up and saw a familiar, handsome face.
'Why is Adrian suddenly walking over?' she thought.
She wanted to step back but found she had no retreat. Behind her was a wall.
Natalie's back was pressed against the wall. "What are you doing?"
Suddenly, his handsome face loomed closer.
Adrian grabbed her hand, and the next second, his lips pressed down on hers. Natalie's eyelashes fluttered as Adrian's tongue parted her teeth, entwining with hers. The kiss, filled with the taste of alcohol, lasted two minutes.
On the other side, Lina bit her lip. She never expected Adrian to kiss a waitress!
Not just Lina, but everyone else was surprised. Adrian kissed a waitress?
It was almost surreal. But it happened right before their eyes.
"Who is that girl? Mr. Newman just went to her earlier," said a girl named Isabella Parker.
Lina's face turned awkward. "Who knows, just a waitress. How come both Mr. Howard and Mr. Newman..."
Only Colby took a sip of his drink and chuckled softly. He knew Adrian couldn't resist.
The way Adrian looked at Raymond earlier, it was as if he wanted to freeze Raymond on the spot.
Only Adrian himself didn't realize how much he valued Natalie.
