"The designs are way too basic. Our new early spring collection needs to be groundbreaking! It has to stand out! It has to be different from anything we've done before! It needs to blow the other brands out of the water. But look at this, it's just too plain, too ordinary. I spent a fortune to bring Lacey on board as our designer, and this is what she delivers?"
The assistant kept her head down, waiting for Rebecca to finish her rant. When Rebecca finally paused, the assistant spoke up, "Ms. Henderson, what should we do next?"
Rebecca pursed her lips. "Kamille didn't wear the dress I sent her to the birthday party."
The assistant had noticed that too.
Rebecca continued, "That Natalie really has some tricks up her sleeve. She managed to get close to Kamille. Kamille is now particularly fond of a designer named Matilda. We need to find her first, offer her a high price, and sign her. We must get this designer."
The assistant nodded, "Got it. I'll contact her first thing tomorrow."
Rebecca narrowed her eyes. "No, we need to find out her information right now. Where she has her store, if she has a contract with any company. If it's a small company, we'll terminate her contract directly. If it's a big company, we'll use any means necessary to get her."
The assistant knew Rebecca's words were not to be questioned. Even if it meant working overtime tonight, she had to get it done. But she had one more question, hesitantly asking, "What about Lacey?"
Rebecca rubbed her temples, looking tired. "Do I need to tell you how to handle her?"
"Please, Ms. Henderson, give me clear instructions." The assistant bowed her head under the pressure. She truly didn't know how to handle it, especially since Lacey was a renowned designer with a fanbase overseas.
Ms. Henderson had personally spent a fortune to bring her on board to make a splash with the early spring collection and break into the international market. But unexpectedly, this time, her designs were too mediocre, causing dissatisfaction among many socialites.
"Send all her designs back, but don't say it was me who rejected them. Just say the socialites complained, found the designs too plain, and demanded Lacey to come up with new designs immediately."

Natalie walked out of the estate, letting Heather go ahead.
Not far away, a familiar car was waiting at the entrance.
Natalie lifted her dress and walked over. The driver got out and opened the car door.
Adrian had just attended a cocktail party. Knowing that Natalie was at Kamille's birthday party tonight, he came to the estate entrance after his event ended.
Seeing the luxury cars parked outside gradually driving away, Adrian knew the birthday party must be over.
Natalie looked at him, "Why didn't you go home?"
"Natalie, I was waiting for you."
The man's husky voice carried on the wind into the woman's ears.
Natalie's face flushed slightly. She looked at Adrian, "What if I decided to stay at the estate tonight?"
"Then I'll stay with you at the estate. I'll see what it's like to stay at my wife's place, if it's anything like Bayview Villa." He seemed to have no hesitation, sharing his thoughts.
Natalie remembered that since he lost his memory, he hadn't been to Blue Moon Lake. Plus, she had been busy filming, so they hadn't spent much time together. Their deep feelings had a gap. She suggested, "Tomorrow is Sunday. Why don't you stay here tonight, and I can accompany you, show you around."
Natalie looked at the beautiful mountain and lake scenery in front of her. "This place is a gift from you, and it marked the beginning of a new chapter in my life."
