Chapter 771 Acting Spoiled
Natalie never used to fuss over her looks, but ever since Adrian came into the picture, she started to care. After all, no one wanted the person they liked to see them at their worst.
"What are you hiding for? I watched you all night last night," Adrian chuckled, his voice low and teasing.
Natalie's face turned even redder, and she buried it in the pillow, trying to hide her embarrassment.
Adrian's warm body pressed gently against her back, his voice soft in her ear, "It's just a bit of swelling on your face and eyes. It's not like I haven't seen it before. Come on, let me see."
His breath tickled her ear, making her shiver.
Natalie shook her head, refusing to budge.
Adrian kissed the tip of her ear, and she mumbled, "Go away."
"Go away?" Adrian echoed, "Are you sure?"
"Sure," she muttered, her voice muffled by the pillow.
Adrian got up, "Alright then, I'll go. I took a few photos last night. Since you won't let me see you, I'll just look at them on my phone."
Natalie's mind went blank. He took pictures of her at her worst? How could he?
Adrian watched her shoulders tremble and added, "Should I post them on Facebook?"
Natalie was stunned. She shot up and grabbed Adrian's leg, "No, Adrian."
Adrian gently pinched her chin, lifting her face.
Her skin was smooth but swollen, her eyes red and puffy from crying.
He remembered how hard she had cried last night.
He pinched her cheek softly, "Isn't this quite cute?"
"Adrian, please have mercy and spare me." If he posted those pictures, she'd die of embarrassment.
Whether he was joking or not, she had to stop him.
"Beg me," Adrian teased, "You should be humble if you're asking for something. Beg properly, and I'll consider it."
"Please, Adrian," Natalie clasped her hands together, trying to look cute.
"Is that it?"
"Then tell me your condition," she said.
Adrian tilted his head slightly, lowering it a bit.
Of course, Natalie understood. He was being extra sassy today.
"But I have a cold," she said.
"I have a strong immune system," Adrian retorted.
Natalie suddenly had a mischievous thought. 'You have a strong immune system? Fine.'
Adrian stood by the bed, and Natalie knelt on it. He was tall, and as he lowered his head, the kiss was supposed to land on his cheek. But Natalie, wanting to get back at him, kissed him on the lips, pried open his teeth, and hooked his tongue!
'Didn't you say you have a strong immune system? Let's see how strong it really is! I don't believe you won't catch my cold! I have a fever and a severe cold! I don't believe it won't be contagious!'
Adrian was stunned. Her lips were hot and sweet, like cherry blossom-flavored jelly, very soft.
Seeing the mischief in her eyes, Adrian knew what she was up to and couldn't help but laugh. When she tried to pull away, he didn't let her go.
