Chapter 1164 Basic Qualities of an Entertainer
Adrian sat on the dining chair, his gaze lightly sweeping across Natalie's face.
Even without makeup, her features were delicate, and her freshly washed hair was fluffy and soft, making her small face appear even smaller.
Natalie stood up, "I'm done eating."
"I don't want this, you can have it," Adrian said, handing his portion of the pastry to Natalie.
Natalie replied, "I'm full."
"The book says that when you feel full, you're actually just close to being full. You can still eat this pastry."
Natalie furrowed her thin eyebrows, "I'm an actress. I have a shoot next month, and the new film is about to start. I need to control my diet from now on."
Although she didn't gain weight easily, she still had the basic discipline expected of an actress!
"Controlling your diet means going out drinking late at night?"
Natalie pressed her lips together. So Adrian was waiting for her to answer this question.
She did drink, but it wasn't enough for Adrian to remember it until now. Did she say something she shouldn't have while drunk and offend Adrian?
After all, Adrian had lost his memory and was as cold as he was initially.
"I promise I won't do it again."
Adrian snorted through his nose, and the matter was considered settled.
"But I really can't eat this. It's a sugar-oil mixture, way too high in sugar."
For an actress, eating even a bite of this was a big no-no.
After saying that, Natalie ran upstairs.
Adrian looked at the caloric bomb, the sugar-oil mixture pastry, that Natalie had mentioned.
He took a bite.
Actually, it tasted pretty good.
He turned to Violette and said, "In the future, make less of these high-oil, high-sugar foods. Natalie is an actress and needs to control her diet. Make more low-calorie but tasty foods."
"Understood, Mr. Howard. I've been researching these light recipes lately."
Violette said as she walked over with a recipe book, "Mr. Howard, what would you like for lunch? You can choose from here."
Although Violette didn't understand why Adrian suddenly gave this instruction, she was happy to see Adrian and Natalie's relationship improving.
Adrian raised his chin slightly, "Go upstairs and ask her."
Violette was momentarily stunned but quickly understood. He wanted her to go upstairs and ask Natalie for her opinion.
Violette took the recipe book and went upstairs.
Natalie's phone, which was on the table, rang.
Adrian picked it up and looked at it.
It was Derek again.
Adrian answered the call.
"Hello."
"Natalie, I sent the design drawings you wanted to your email. Because the files are large, I sent them in three parts and added a key, which is 223666. Please check."
After speaking, Derek realized the person on the other end wasn't Natalie.
"Mr. Howard, this is Derek."
"Do you know about Natalie's recent work schedule?"
"Sorry, I'm no longer working with Natalie, so I don't know much about her schedule. But she seems to have signed a new film, a period drama, and is about to join the crew. She should be preparing for that now."
"You're not with her, so has her security detail for joining the crew been arranged?"
"Yes, Dynamic Entertainment has provided Natalie with a new professional team to ensure her safety."
"What are the design drawings you just mentioned?"
Derek hesitated but had to comply with Adrian's command, "It's for one of Natalie's businesses outside of acting. It's currently being renovated and is set to open after the New Year. The drawings are for the interior design."
Adrian knew that Natalie was a top-tier actress in the entertainment industry, very famous and wealthy. It was normal for her to have some investments.
