This place was way better than their room in Blue Bar, a shoebox. Frank was pumped but also kinda torn. After all, Yancy got hurt saving his butt, and he just bailed with Ava without a word.
Frank thought, "Screw it, safety first."
Ava headed to her room and shot a text to Aiden: [Aiden, we made it to Skyline Apartments.]
Meanwhile, Aiden leaned over and grinned at the guy next to him. "Mr. Santoro, they're here."
Frankie, eyes shut and voice all raspy, said, "Call Carlos and tell him to bring the deed to get the person."

Karen noticed the buzz was starting to lean in Alice's favor. She didn't see that coming. Ever since Alice trashed Natalie last time, the internet had been all over Alice, making her feel like crap.
Even though Alice later said she and Natalie were tight, most people online weren't buying it.
Natalie was caught up in the photos scandal this time, but she clapped back with a lawsuit against the original poster and some nasty trolls. Once the Cease and Desist Letter dropped, the tide started to turn. Plus, Natalie had a killer PR team. She kept her mouth shut the whole time while her team denied everything.
In these situations, denial was the best approach.
Even if it was really her, as long as she didn't fess up, there was a chance.
Plus, the photos had a bunch of issues.
It was pretty clear it was a dirty trick by her enemies, using doctored pics to drag her down.
Once the guy in the photos spoke up, Natalie could totally clear her name.
But Karen knew the chick in the photos not only looked like Natalie but even more like Alice. This was probably Alice's wild past coming back to bite her.
Karen called Alice, saying, "Alice, Natalie tagged you. You gotta respond now. I’ve also lined up some articles to hype your friendship. Be sweet and act like her 'bestie,' got it? Don’t go off-script. If you’re stuck, the assistant already wrote it out for you. Just copy and paste."
"I'm on it." Alice asked, "Do I really have to respond?" She was worried Avery would flip if he saw it.
Avery wasn’t a fan of her hanging with Rosalie because of the recent drama. Even though Avery wasn’t big on Facebook, after all this, she’d definitely keep an eye on the buzz.
Karen kept pushing, "This is your shot to clear your name. Natalie’s super popular right now. By riding her wave, you can boost your own rep and fix things between you two. The internet won’t feel sorry for a rich girl like you. You gotta play up the friendship angle. It’s rare that Natalie’s playing along. Right now, the online chatter is in your favor. Lots of people are saying they misjudged you and something."
Alice gritted her teeth. "Got it. I’ll post it now."
Alice, having been roasted by netizens before, didn’t want to miss this rare chance to flip the script.
She pulled out her phone, opened Facebook, and saw the message her assistant had prepped. She skimmed it, copied, pasted, and hit send.
Alice: [Natalie, I just did what I should as a friend. Since you’re busy with the crew and Mrs. Teeger isn’t well, it’s only right I take care of her. Good luck with filming. I’ll look after Mrs. Teeger.]
