Chapter 954 The Final Concession

"How about we switch the background to that rock on the south side?" Mira suggested, glancing at the photographer.

The photographer, Dash Adams, an old friend of Wendy's and one of the best in the country, quickly replied, "This background won't work. Let's wait for Ms. Teeger."

Normally, Wendy might've just walked away.

But right now, she seemed dead set on opposing Natalie. "What if I insist on shooting now?" she said, lifting her skirt. An assistant moved to help, but Wendy walked to Natalie in a few steps. Seeing this, Mira knew Wendy's competitive spirit had been ignited and hurried up, fearing there would be a conflict between Wendy and Natalie.

She also knew that things at Dynamic Entertainment had changed. Wendy used to be the top star here. But now, Natalie was a rising force to be reckoned with.

In the past, Wendy wouldn't have bothered with Natalie; there were too many beauties in the entertainment industry.

But "The Nameless Road," with its $3 billion box office revenue, had exploded like a brilliant firework, lighting up the entire night.

Wendy was scared of being replaced.

Mira, as Wendy's manager, naturally knew what Wendy was thinking. She lowered her voice, "Wendy, Mr. Harrington said you're all in the same company. You're the senior; don't..."

Wendy sneered, "Mr. Harrington? Isn't he completely siding with Natalie now? I see it clearly; even you have to consider Natalie now, right?"

Mira sighed, "Wendy."

Though in wrath, Wendy managed a bright smile. "Natalie, what a coincidence to see you here."

Natalie raised her hand, signaling the photographer to stop shooting.

She looked at Wendy, who was now just six feet away. Today, Wendy captivated everyone with her presence, especially when the sunlight made the sequins on her dress sparkle as if she were a mermaid on the coast, enchanting and alluring.

Natalie smiled, "Ms. Lewis, it is quite a coincidence."

Wendy said in mock curiosity, "Have you finished shooting? I think this background is great. How much longer will you need? I'll wait."

"It might take a while. If you like, you can go first. After all, your time is precious, and there's no need to waste it here." Natalie lifted her skirt and walked over to Wendy. With the advantage of her height and higher heels, she slightly lowered her head and whispered in Wendy's ear, "But this is the last time, Ms. Lewis. I believe you don't need a junior to 'make way' for you every time, right?"

With that, Natalie straightened up, her posture elegant and graceful like a noble swan. She lifted her skirt and strode away.

Heather followed behind, with an assistant bending down to hold Natalie's skirt.

Wendy's face turned pale.

Mira, who had also heard Natalie's words, was surprised. She hadn't expected the seemingly gentle Natalie to be so sharp. Indeed, they had arrived late and had no right to ask Natalie to give way.
