Chapter 1060 Stealing the Spotlight
'Why has Yancy changed so much? Even if we broke up, he shouldn't be a completely different person, right? Is something off?' Heather wondered, biting her lip. 'Maybe there's a lot I don't know about.'
Calista knocked and walked in. "Ms. Ross, it's a call from Ms. Teeger."
Heather suddenly remembered her phone was missing. Natalie probably couldn't reach her and called Calista instead. She quickly took the phone. "Natalie."
"What's up with your phone? I couldn't get through at all."
"I left it at the bar last night."
"Are you okay?" Natalie sighed, "Still thinking about Yancy?"
Heather gave a bitter smile. "Natalie, I can't get over him."
"How about I give you some time off to clear your mind?"
"No need. When I'm working, I don't think about him. Natalie, don't worry. I'm fine. It's just a breakup, right? I'll get over it soon. You just enjoy your honeymoon with Mr. Howard." After hanging up, Heather handed the phone back to Calista. "Didn't you mention yesterday that Phoenix was joining the crew? How's that going?"
"Ms. Ross, it's all arranged."
Heather nodded. "That's good. I'm heading out now. Contact me if anything comes up. You have my backup number, right?" Heather said, pulling a backup phone from the drawer. It had numbers of important contacts and some production crew info stored in it.
"Got it, Ms. Ross."
Natalie had a media appreciation event for "Rising Winds" in the afternoon. She wore a white summer dress from U&M, looking elegant and classy. Almost all the main actors from the Rising Winds crew were there. Juniper also came. Compared to Natalie's simple elegance, Juniper was decked out in jewels, looking like she was attending a high-fashion event, wearing a crown, covered in gold and diamonds, a bit too flashy.
In the entire movie, Juniper didn't have many scenes, and her role wasn't particularly eye-catching. But Juniper tried to create a romantic buzz with Samuel. However, Samuel rejected it and issued a warning. Juniper didn't back off much and secretly created a lot of news to pair them up and gain popularity.
Many artists wanted to ride on Samuel's fame. As long as it wasn't excessive, Samuel wouldn't bother. Juniper and Samuel knew each other for years, so he didn't want to warn her harshly, hoping she would get the hint.
Juniper's flashy outfit drew criticism from some interviewers, and the crew felt she was trying to steal the spotlight, but they knew that true star power wasn't about flashy code.
Natalie, in her simple white dress, looked great, with smooth skin and long hair, exuding a fresh and pure aura, instantly attracting everyone's attention.
"What was the most interesting and unforgettable experience you had on set, Ms. Teeger?" a reporter asked.
Natalie took the microphone. "The most unforgettable moment was probably the scene with Samuel that involved a fire, because it was a real fire."
