Chapter 1043 The Wedding Approaches

But soon, Heather hung up. She clutched her phone, unable to stop the tears.

In the end, Heather was alone again in this world.

The guy who said he liked her, who called her Heather with that mischievous grin, ended up leaving her.

That night, Yancy wasn't feeling great, so he took some meds and hit the sack early.

Lucy filled Cassidy in on everything that went down.

Cassidy was thrilled.

This time, the deep hypnosis wiped out Yancy's original memories of Heather and made him think she was just a shallow person. It also forged a false history of closeness between him and Cassidy, with Xavier leaving early.

Heather was just a fleeting presence in Yancy's life.

That night, Yancy had a dream. In it, there was a woman in a thick fog. She held his hand, and they ran together. But Yancy couldn't see her face clearly. He just knew that being with her made him feel at ease and happy.

"What's your name?"

"Who are you?"

"Can I see you again?"

In the morning, Yancy woke up with tears in his eyes.

He touched the corner of his eye, confused. The woman in the dream felt so real, yet so fake.

Adrian and Natalie's wedding was tomorrow.

Tonight, Natalie couldn't sleep at all in the hotel.

Traditionally, the bride waits for the groom at her parents' home. But Natalie didn't have a parents' home anymore.

Curtis had reached out, offering her to wait for Adrian at the Cullen Mansion, but Natalie turned him down.

Curtis knew Natalie was now the lady of the Howard family and wanted to connect with her. Natalie didn't hate Curtis; she just didn't respect him as an elder anymore.

She stayed in the hotel, barely sleeping that night.

Heather stayed with her.

Natalie noticed Heather seemed off these past few days. She asked, but Heather just said it was personal.

Natalie took out her phone, glanced at Bella's number, dialed it, but couldn't get through.

She still sent a message to Bella's number: [Bella, I'm getting married.]

'Bella, where are you? Nicholas, where have you locked Bella up? Bella, I hope you're safe and happy too,' Natalie thought.

At 7 AM, there were already a bunch of cars outside the hotel.

Heather smiled and said, "You didn't sleep all night, but you finally get to see your Mr. Howard."

"Heather, if you were getting married, you'd be just as nervous." Natalie was putting on makeup, holding Heather's hand. "Heather, thank you. I'm so glad I met you and became friends in the entertainment industry."

"I'm really happy too. If I hadn't met you, Natalie, I wouldn't be where I am now," Heather said, feeling a bit bitter. She had come to Vachilit alone, with no one to rely on. She was willing to work hard and do any tough job, even if it meant not sleeping for two days and nights while following an actress. She was willing to grit her teeth and endure it, but she never got the opportunity. She poured her heart into those actresses, but they didn't appreciate it.
