Chapter 694 Something Happened

Lucas took a swig of his drink. "Thanks for the props, but I have no clue what you're getting at."

Natalie grabbed a glass of wine from the table and, out of nowhere, dumped it all over her face.

Then she started unbuttoning her shirt. She had on this off-white embroidered blouse today. She unbuttoned it and tossed it on the ground, showing off a dark gray camisole underneath. Lucas was floored, totally lost on what Natalie was up to. 'Is she seriously thinking of paying us back with her body? No way.'

Herman gawked at Natalie. Even though she hadn't shown much, with only the camisole on and her smooth skin, it was enough to get Herman all worked up.

Natalie wiped the corner of her mouth, smudging her lipstick a bit.

Right then, there was this sudden, loud banging on the door.

Lucas jumped at the sound. "What's going on?"

The banging got louder, like someone was kicking the door.

Lucas's bodyguards were outside, and it sounded like a fight had broken out.

Lucas and Herman had been laying low for a while to avoid trouble. Now, sensing something was about to go down, they both freaked out a bit. But Lucas kept his cool. "What's happening? Who's causing trouble out there?"

A waiteress slowly walked to the door, and Herman suddenly shouted in a panic, "Don't open the door."

Heather took the chance to push Herman aside, then walked over to Natalie, picked up the blouse from the floor, and covered her with it. Natalie's eyelashes were glistening with wine droplets. She looked at Herman. "Mr. Simmons, who just said that if I walked out of this door, I'd be done for?"

Herman's face went pale. "What are you trying to do? Did you call the cops?"

Herman's mind was racing. He looked at Lucas for help. If Natalie had called the cops and accused Herman of raping her, he wouldn't be able to talk his way out of it.

Lucas stood up and threatened, "Natalie, did you really call the cops? You should know that if you start talking nonsense, your reputation will be trashed. This isn't a joke. When the cops get here, I suggest you keep your mouth shut. Don't think you can be a law onto yourself just because you're Adrian's girl. Adrian will ditch you one day, and if you piss us off, you'll have no resources left. Remember, Dynamic Entertainment is under my control. No matter how powerful Adrian is, he can't mess with that."

A smile crept onto Natalie's pale face. "Mr. Abernathy, I regret saying you're smart. How thick you are! I was thinking of letting you off the hook. Seems like you know about Herman's affairs with newcomers over the past two years, but as the president of Dynamic Entertainment, you ignored it and let it slide. You two are really trash, equally rotten."

Lucas's face twisted in anger, and he smashed a glass of wine on the floor.

At that moment, the door shook violently.

Natalie signaled Heather to open the door.

Heather quickly ran over and opened it.

Adrian, with an angry, cold, and sinister look, stood at the door. His eyes scanned the room and landed on Natalie, who was lying on the floor covered in wine. He immediately walked over and picked her up.

"Are you okay?" Adrian's voice had a slight tremor.

Natalie looked at Adrian, surrounded by his familiar scent, and suddenly felt a pang in her chest. "Adrian."

When Lucas and Herman saw it was Adrian, they immediately panicked, their faces turning ashen.
