Chapter 212 Get What We Need

Alice feigned grievance and said, "Natalie, you're really wronging me. Wasn't it all Diana's idea? She suggested the game too." She still didn't dare to openly offend Natalie. Ever since Avery was caught by Natalie changing Rosalie's medicine, Natalie had become harder to control.
In the past, Natalie would never have dared to speak to Alice like this.
Alice thought to herself, 'I can only pretend to be weak for now and then find a way to get a hold over Natalie.'
Alice said, "Natalie, we grew up together; although we've had many conflicts, I did give you 200 dollars for Rosalie's treatment. You took the money, and I want to be Mrs. Howard. We both get what we need. Just like now, if you like Daniel and want to become Mrs. Murphy in the future, it's not impossible. We don't have any conflicts." Seeing Natalie leaning against the railing without speaking, she continued to soothe her. "Once I marry Adrian, I'll let you reunite with your mother, how about that?"
Natalie slowly lifted her calm eyes.
Alice said, "Your mother is now using the best medicine and is in good health. She has already woken up."
Alice knew Rosalie was Natalie's vulnerability. Seeing Natalie's emotional fluctuation, she immediately said, "Natalie, I just need to marry into the Howard family, and you want your mother to be safe. Once I become Mrs. Howard, I'll give you and Rosalie some money so you can leave, how about that?"
Natalie looked at Alice. She wouldn't believe Alice, but she also wouldn't provoke Alice. She would find a way with Jerry to rescue Rosalie. Leaning against the railing, she felt her cheeks hot, but the sea breeze made her feel much better. She closed her eyes and remain silent.
Seeing Natalie not responding, Alice called out a few times, "Hey!"
The yacht docked, and Alice said to the driver, "Just drop her off on the bench at the hotel entrance and take me back to the beach."
The driver hesitated. "Isn't that a bit much?"
Alice asked, "What's wrong with it?"
Natalie didn't return to the hotel but sat at the entrance for a few minutes before getting up. She looked at the grand and magnificent hotel, which was arguably the most luxurious and bustling hotel on the sea. Just one painting hanging inside could cover an ordinary person's lifetime expenses.
Besides the hotel, there were many recreational facilities here.
The closer to the center of the island, the stronger the sea breeze.
Natalie's hair was blown into disarray. She arrived at the giant Starship cruise ship docked beside the island. Also, it was a place for guests to have fun, moored on one side of the hotel. There were a few scattered people on it, but not many. Most of the invited tourists were on the beach.
These scattered people didn't know Natalie, so there was no extra conversation.
They just asked, "Did you go to the beach? Was it fun?"
Natalie shook her head, thinking, 'Not fun at all.'
A girl said gently, "I guess you must be drunk.
"Come sit here."
She saw Natalie wearing a blue long dress. Although the dress was beautiful, it was of average workmanship. She understood that Natalie was probably like herself, from an ordinary wealthy family, just got a ticket through some connection, but couldn't fit in with those high-society women; so she didn't go to the beach.
