Chapter 333 Satisfaction

Artie Romero assured, "I get it. Don't worry, no one will find out!"

Emma hung up, feeling satisfied. She spun in her chair, propped her feet on the desk, and smirked. 'Good luck, Natalie. Let's see how you're going to talk your way out of this one.'

She picked up her phone again and called Dorothy Jackson. "Mr. Cook wants Natalie. Get her to the second floor, quick."

Dorothy was puzzled. "Natalie? She's assigned to the second floor this week. She shouldn't be on the sixth floor." If Natalie came up, they'd have to go downstairs, meaning fewer tips tonight.

Emma knew her employees' little tricks. All for a few hundred bucks.

Emma said, "Dorothy, do me a favor. Do it right, and next week, you'll manage the waitresses. You'll lead the second group."

Dorothy was tempted. "Alright."

Suite 606.

Adrian walked in, handed his coat to a waiter, and scanned the room filled with familiar faces.

Colby, at the card table, saw Adrian and said, "Adrian, we've been waiting for you."

Adrian walked over.

The table was full, but a man stood up. "Adrian, take my seat. I've already dealt the cards for you."

Adrian took the cards, raised an eyebrow. "These cards are terrible."

Owen Martin laughed. "In your hands, even bad cards can win."

Adrian said, "Just so we're clear, the loser owes a car."

Colby grinned. "Adrian, looks like your car might be ours tonight."

Adrian looked at his cards, smiled faintly. "We'll see."

Someone called out, "Waiter, bring two fruit platters."

The waiter replied, "Right away."

Dorothy said, "Betty, go get Natalie from the second floor. You'll take her place."

Betty Jones protested, "Why me? The tips are great tonight. What's on the second floor?"

Dorothy patted her shoulder. "Betty, go now. I'll give you my share of tonight's tips. Let Natalie come up."

Betty agreed. "Alright, Dorothy, you better keep your word."

Dorothy assured her. "Don't worry, I will."

Betty went to the second floor. Denise was at the door. Betty told her to call Natalie out. After a couple of minutes, Natalie appeared. "What's up?"

Betty said, "Nothing, just go to the sixth floor. I'll cover for you here."

Before Natalie could respond, Denise asked, "The sixth floor? Isn't Manager Kroger in charge there this week? Why send Natalie up?"

Betty replied, "Mr. Cook in suite 606 asked for Natalie. We can't refuse a customer."

Denise muttered something. Natalie patted her hand. "I'll head up."

Denise nodded. "Alright."
