Chapter 1107 Keep My Word

"Andrea's inside. Let's hang out here for a bit," Natalie said.

"She's here?" Rachel raised an eyebrow. "Did she ask you to come out? I've told you before, Andrea still has a thing for Adrian."

"Nope, it was Adrian who asked me to step out. Plus, I can't just barge in on them, can I?" Natalie smiled faintly, knowing how much Andrea meant to Adrian.

Andrea had been in a coma for seven years, all because she saved Adrian.

And the doctor said Adrian's memory was stuck three years ago, before he met her. So, the name Natalie meant nothing to him.

Rachel wanted to push the door open, but Natalie stopped her, thinking, 'Why make Adrian upset? Besides, Andrea's just in there chatting with him.'

Rachel sat down next to her and lowered her voice, "Don't underestimate Andrea. She's sneaky."

'I can't understand why Jamie likes Andrea. What's so great about her that Jamie's into her?' Rachel thought, feeling a bit down.

Just then, Rachel's phone rang. She glanced at it but didn't answer. Her expression changed.

Natalie asked, "What's up?"

Rachel's face looked off. "It's Bobby. Remember him?"

"Yeah, I remember," Natalie said, thinking back. "Isn't he that race car driver? You took me to a race last time. Weren't you into Robbie, not Bobby?"

Rachel said, "I gotta go. I'll come back later to see Adrian. Let him know I was here."

"Okay."

Rachel walked out of the hospital and called Bobby back. "Why are you calling me? Didn't I tell you not to?"

"Well, Ms. Howard, do you still remember our bet?" Bobby asked.

Rachel stomped her foot. "I remember."

"Ms. Howard, I won two weeks ago. When are you gonna pay up?" Bobby's voice was low and raspy, with a bit of a careless tone.

"What bet? I don't remember," Rachel stammered.

She never thought Robbie would actually lose!

Robbie was utterly defeated by Bobby's onslaught, not even keeping second place. Second place also went to Bobby's team.

The reason Rachel liked Robbie was she admired his strength. Robbie's performance was excellent.

When she was feeling down and had left the track, Robbie was at the height of his success, winning one championship after another.

As for Robbie's looks, he was indeed quite handsome.

But Rachel had seen plenty of handsome guys, and she wasn't interested in Robbie's looks at all.

After adding Rachel on Facebook, Robbie had contacted her multiple times.

But Rachel only admired Robbie for his strength, not for his appearance.

After Robbie lost several times in a row, Rachel naturally didn't like him anymore.

She never thought that the bet she casually agreed to when she was drunk would actually be won by Bobby.

Bobby said over the phone, "So, Ms. Howard, are you saying that because you were drunk, it doesn't count? The Howard family's Ms. Howard doesn't keep her word?"

Rachel couldn't stand being provoked, saying, "Who said I don't keep my word? It's just a bet, right? Fine, being your girlfriend for a month, right? It's okay."
