Chapter 1195 Andrea's Allergy

"Alright, come on, Adrian, get up and let Andrea sit in your place."

Adrian stood up, and Andrea sat down. "Grandpa, but I'm really bad at chess. I might lose quickly."

"If you lose, I'll teach you. Come over more often and play chess with me every day, and your skills will improve."

"Thank you, Grandpa, for being willing to teach a beginner like me. I'll definitely visit you more often."

Andrea picked up the white pieces, and Ruben taught her hand in hand.

Adrian said, "I won't disturb you guys. I'll head home first."

Andrea came here just to see Adrian; she couldn't let him leave so easily.

Andrea's face suddenly turned pale, and the chess piece in her hand fell onto the table.

Adrian had just reached the door.

He heard Ruben's voice, "Andrea, what's wrong?"

Adrian immediately turned around, took a few steps, and caught Andrea as she fainted.

Jeffery heard the noise and quickly came over.

Seeing the situation, he immediately said, "The family doctor is here. I'll get the doctor right away. Let's lay Ms. Lawson down first."

In the living room, Andrea lay weak and pale on the sofa.

The family doctor arrived ten minutes later.

After an examination, he said, "It appears to be acute allergy, and it's quite dangerous. I've given Ms. Lawson an injection, but she needs to go to the hospital immediately."

Ruben asked, "Allergy? How could she have an allergy?"

Adrian said to Ruben, "Grandpa, you should rest at home. Andrea will be fine. I'll take her to the hospital and let you know if anything happens."

Ruben nodded, "Go ahead."

At the hospital, Andrea was taken to the emergency room.

Adrian waited outside.

He stopped a nurse, "How is the girl who was just taken in?"

"She has acute allergies. Before she passed out, did she eat anything?"

Adrian thought for a moment, "She had some snacks."

"Is that all? Think carefully. Her allergic reaction is very rapid and severe. She has hives all over her body, multiple areas of swelling, and she can't breathe without a ventilator."

Natalie was at home reading a script when Heather called.

They talked about the script for a bit.

"My Heart, Bright Moon will have a script reading next week. You need to join the team by the 22nd at the latest for a three-day read-through. Filming officially starts on the 1st of next month."

Heather added, "The male lead has been decided; it's the talented young actor Alfonso Carr. He's quite popular in historical dramas and looks great in period costumes. He has starred in famous series before. When he found out you were the female lead, he accepted the role immediately."

"I think I've vaguely seen one of Alfonso's dramas before, but I didn't finish it. I think it was called Empire Palace."

"Yes, he became famous because of Empire Palace. Although he has talent and skills, he doesn't have much star power. He's young and looks great in period costumes, but his height isn't ideal. In this drama, you'll need to wear flat shoes the whole time."

"That's fine. Flat shoes are soft and comfortable, not tiring."

"The script focuses on the female lead. We have a dedicated screenwriter to ensure there are no issues. This is an original script, but since Clementine's health isn't great, her final and most important disciple, Anouk, will be the head screenwriter. I've seen Anouk's work, and her ability to control the pacing is on par with Clementine's."
