Chapter 1179 A Bit Strange

"She is the one who helped me." Derek raised his hand and gently touched Aurelia's head, then lowered his head and placed a kiss on Aurelia's forehead.

"Natalie is the one who helped me. And you, Aurelia, are my girlfriend."

Aurelia was stunned.

Feeling a cool sensation on her forehead, she raised her hand to touch it and froze.

"You!" Aurelia's face flushed. "Who said you could kiss me?"

Seeing Derek's momentary confusion, Aurelia thought Derek really didn't understand women. She might have sounded unhappy, but in reality, she was very pleased.

Seeing the confusion in Derek's eyes, she stood on her tiptoes, feeling a bit anxious, and kissed his cheek. "Let's go."

Derek was taken aback and said, "Aurelia, wait for me to come back."

Aurelia looked at him. "You're only going for a few days, you'll be back soon, just two weeks. Of course, I'll wait for you."

Derek smiled, but when he turned his face, he became serious. In fact, he didn't know if he could return safely from this trip.

The road ahead was fraught with danger.

Natalie sat in the back seat, holding a cup of coffee.

She looked at the route outside the window; this wasn't the way back to the Howard Mansion.

"Where are we going?"

Seeing that Adrian didn't answer, Natalie rolled down the window.

The breeze blew in, and she looked at the night scene outside. It was the most bustling and vibrant time of Vachilit's nightlife, with bright lights and a moonlit night.

The breeze on her face felt very comfortable.

The car stopped.

Natalie stuck her head out and found that they were at a hospital.

To be precise, it was the hospital closest to the movie theater.

Natalie seemed to think of something but then dismissed it.

If it were the Adrian before his amnesia, she could believe that he brought her here to treat her sprained ankle.

But now that Adrian had amnesia, would he still do this?

Natalie slightly pursed her lips, watching Adrian unbuckle his seatbelt, get out of the car, walk around to her side, open the door, and carry her out.

It was only at this moment that Natalie realized he really brought her to the hospital to treat her sprained ankle.

"I'm fine, it's just a sprain. I have medicine at home; I can just ice it when I get back."

Adrian didn't stop, carrying her all the way to the emergency center.

The doctor examined her and said, "Ice it at home for the first 24 hours. I'll prescribe some medicine. After 24 hours, apply this. Your sprain isn't severe; it should be fine in a week."

"Alright, go get the medicine." The doctor handed the prescription to Adrian.

Adrian took it.

He bent down to pick up Natalie.

Because there were quite a few patients in the emergency center at night, Adrian placed her on a chair in the hallway outside. "I'll go get the medicine. You sit here."

After saying that, Adrian left. Natalie watched his back, feeling a bit surprised. Adrian had been acting a bit strange these past two days.

To be precise, he had been acting strange since the night she got drunk and came back.

What exactly did she say that night when she was drunk?

Why did Adrian seem to have changed?

Tonight was even stranger; Adrian actually brought her to treat her foot injury?

Could it be that Adrian had regained some of his memory?

Thinking of this, Natalie's eyes brightened.

Even a little bit would be good; it would give her hope.

At this moment, Natalie's phone rang.

It was a voice message from Heather, roughly telling her that they had successfully signed Caspian and outlining Caspian's future plans, asking for Natalie's opinion on some specific matters.
