Chapter 1196 Andrea Leaves the Howard Mansion
Natalie murmured the name.
Anouk.
"I know her, she's an excellent young screenwriter. The script was decided just like that."
This was Anouk, who had gone through thick and thin with Natalie.
They had always talked about meeting up, but only chatted on Facebook.
Both were busy—she was working with other crews, and Natalie was always filming. This time, they finally had a chance to collaborate.
She hung up the phone.
Another call seamlessly came in.
Adrian's deep, displeased voice sounded, "Natalie, you did this on purpose, didn't you!"
Natalie was yelled at. She looked at the caller ID; it was Adrian.
"Hello, what happened? I was just talking to my friend..."
"What did you give Andrea to eat? Why did she faint and suffocate!"
Natalie understood. Adrian's anger was because of Andrea.
"I don't know why she fainted. She came to my place just to deliver some pastries. Adrian, you don't think I did something to her, do you?" She bit her lip, which was trembling.
"I don't want to argue with you about this. Her condition is very dangerous right now."
Natalie didn't know what had happened to Andrea.
How could Andrea suddenly have an incident in just a few hours?
Adrian asked, "What did she eat at home, besides the pastries?"
"She drank a glass of kiwi juice."
Then, Adrian hung up the phone.
Natalie listened to the dial tone on the other end and clenched her fingers.
This matter was either orchestrated by Andrea herself, or it was unintentional on her part.
Natalie leaned towards the former.
Drinking a glass of juice and suddenly having an incident should be acute allergy.
Didn't Andrea know she was allergic to kiwi?
Moreover, Violette handed over two glasses of juice, and Andrea chose first.
This was clearly intentional.
It seemed that Andrea would rather make herself allergic than let Adrian be close to Natalie.
At the hospital, after half an hour, Andrea was sent to the ward.
Jamie also rushed over.
He looked at Andrea lying on the bed, his thin lips tightly pressed, and said to Adrian, "Since the Howard family can't take good care of Andrea, let her return to the Lawson mansion."
Adrian did not refuse.
Because he also suggested letting Andrea return to the Lawson mansion.
He always believed that Andrea, after being in a coma for seven years and waking up to find Adrian married, feared she would no longer be loved. So, she would be jealous and unable to accept what had happened over the past seven years, causing psychological damage. Therefore, she would do some things to resist Natalie, like sending her messages or coming to find him every day.
He wasn't a fool; it wasn't hard to see that although Andrea was gentle and kind, she also harbored hostility towards Natalie.
Of course, even so, he believed these were unintentional acts by Andrea. It was just that too many things had happened during her seven-year coma, leading to her current behavior.
It would be better for her to return to where Jamie lived. He nodded, "That might be best."
"Adrian, I won't let you hurt Andrea. You've already hurt her once. She was in a coma for seven years because of you. Just let her go."
Adrian clenched his fists, "Jamie, I'm leaving now. I'll leave this to you."
He walked to the door.
He heard Jamie's voice behind him, "Natalie is a kind girl. She's your wife. Don't let her down."
