Chapter 215 Slept with the Wrong Person

Adrian stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, his eyes lightly closed, and he clenched his fist tightly.
Suddenly, he felt pain in his hand. He frowned and looked at his left hand.
A hideous wound was turning white, curling up, no longer bleeding. The glass shards had been washed away by the seawater; the pain from the seawater's
scour seemed to hit him just now.
A chill ran down Adrian's spine.
Natalie had suddenly fallen into the sea. In the midst of the danger, he had forgotten that his hand was injured.
He found the first aid kit, took out some antiseptic, and hastily bandaged it.
Adrian sat on the recliner, exhaustion washing over him, and he closed his eyes.
He didn't know how much time had passed when he suddenly woke up with a start.
In his dream, Natalie had fallen into the sea and was swept away by the waves.
His forehead was covered in sweat. He thought, 'How could I have such a dream? Natalie?'
He looked at the empty room but didn't see Natalie.
He thought, 'I've left Natalie in the bathroom. She is drunk; does she have fallen asleep in there? Damn it!'
Adrian pushed open the bathroom door and saw Natalie lying in the bathtub.
The water had already drained, and Natalie had changed into a bathrobe. She was curled up, hugging herself.
Adrian finally sighed in relief.
He walked over, bent down, and looked at Natalie's sleeping face.
The bathroom was filled with steam, and Natalie's cheeks had a faint pink hue.
Her sleeping face was exceptionally serene, like a baby.
Adrian looked at her profile and picked her up. Natalie seemed to wake up from the movement, groggily opening her eyes. "Ah, who... who are you?"
Adrian didn't know how he managed to suppress the anger rising in his chest.
He thought, 'You have asked me who I am twice today! Great!'
Adrian said, "You tell me, who am I."
Natalie was dazed. After a night of drinking and falling into the sea, she was utterly exhausted. She barely lifted her eyelids before closing them again. "Mr. Murphy, why are you here?"
It would have been better if Natalie hadn't said that.
The name Mr. Murphy coming out of her mouth instantly ignited the anger in Adrian's eyes.
"Natalie!" he gritted his teeth.
Holding her, his grip tightened slightly, causing Natalie to cry out in pain, "Ah, it hurts."
Natalie closed her eyes. "Mr. Murphy, what's wrong with you?"
Natalie was really driving Adrian crazy!
Adrian threw Natalie onto the bed. However, she fell asleep immediately, leaving him no chance to vent his anger. Her breathing gradually became steady; she curled up as if she felt extremely insecure. As she wore the oversized bathrobe, her curled-up position exposed the skin on her chest. Adrian's throat felt dry. He irritably pulled a blanket over her and then went straight to the bathroom.
Under the stimulation of the cold water, Adrian opened his eyes. Natalie was really testing the lowest limits of his patience time and again.
Yet, subconsciously, he kept indulging her challenges.
The next morning, Natalie opened her eyes, feeling the pain from the hangover. She raised her hand to rub her temples uncomfortably. She sat up, recalling what had happened yesterday. On the beach, while playing truth or dare, she seemed to have drunk too much, and then she came back.
Then, she looked around to find that this didn't seem like her bedroom.
Natalie lifted the blanket and got out of bed, looking at the oversized bathrobe. Suddenly, the bedroom door opened. Natalie looked up and saw Adrian walking in. She was startled and stepped back. "You, who let you into my bedroom!!"
She quickly covered her chest and dove back under the blanket.
"Your bedroom?" Adrian looked at her panicked expression, smiling faintly. "Take a good look. This is my bedroom."
