Chapter 129 The Sixth Floor was Locked

"No need to be so formal with me." Bella glanced at her unwillingly and asked, "Has Mrs. Teeger been found? Do you need help?"

"Yes, we find her at Shoreview General Hospital in the Rivershade District. But currently, all of Avery's people are there, so I can't go up." Unless Natalie had enough ways to handle any unexpected situations, she didn't dare to easily disturb Avery.

"Actually, there! Natalie, wait for me. I'll go there tomorrow. Those people all know you, but they don't know me. I'll visit Mrs. Teeger, and they won't be on guard against me."

Bella did as she said and went to Shoreview General Hospital early the next day.

She had the driver pretend to have mental issues, rambling nonsensically, and then he got a doctor's appointment.

"Doctor, my uncle often suffers from insomnia and talks nonsense during the day. Please take a good look at him." After handing the driver over to the doctor, Bella excused herself to go to the restroom and left.

She carefully observed the psychiatric hospital, which was not large and had few patients, most of whom were long-term residents. There were no elevators, only stairs. She observed floor by floor, and suddenly, on the sixth floor, it was locked with an iron grille.

She went downstairs and asked the cleaner, "Excuse me, why is the sixth floor locked?"

The cleaning lady also gossiped occasionally. "I don't know, and it's been locked for over a month. Seems like there's a patient on the sixth floor, and no one is allowed up there."

Bella smiled. Her small, round face looked even rounder when she smiled, and her big eyes made her very likable.

"Great, you can skip cleaning a floor, and you can relax for a while."

The cleaning lady chuckled. "Of course, I have to go up and clean it every two days."

The cleaning lady rarely encountered a young girl she liked, so she happily chatted with Bella. "I heard from a few nurses before that the patient on the sixth floor might have kidney problems. Someone comes to see her every week, and there are four or five bodyguards outside, very strict in guarding the patient."

Bella casually speculated. "Is it the hospital director's relative here for recuperation? Otherwise, how could a whole floor be left empty?"

"Maybe."

Bella took out her phone, took a few photos of the sixth floor, and then left. After walking out of Shoreview General Hospital, she called Natalie to inform her of the situation.

Natalie had already found out where her mother was. At this moment, she needed to figure out how to take her mother away without alarming Avery.

After making all the decisions, Natalie realized something was wrong.

Jagger couldn't accompany her because of two surgeries, and she hadn't paid much attention. Initially, he used to message her every day, but now it had been four days without a message.

She frowned, took advantage of the day off, prepared lunch at home, and planned to take it to Jagger.

Sunset Valley Hospital was familiar to her, especially the nephrology department. She used to come here to see Rosalie.

Arriving at the nephrology department, Natalie went to Jagger's office, but he wasn't there. She asked a nurse on duty. "Where is Dr. Kamel?"

"Dr. Kamel?" The female nurse looked at her. "You're Dr. Kamel's girlfriend, right? Don't you know? Dr. Kamel's surgery went wrong."

Natalie was taken aback. "What are you saying?"

Just yesterday, she chatted with Jagger on WeChat, and he didn't mention anything about surgery.

The nurse gave her a strange look. "The day before yesterday, Dr. Kamel prepared for a surgery for half a month, it failed, there was a surgical error, the family sued Dr. Kamel, and now he's suspended."

"How could this happen?"
