Chapter 1286 Adrian Left
The next morning.
The wind blew.
Natalie opened her eyes, finding herself in Adrian's arms.
Adrian also opened his eyes, "Awake?"
Adrian's voice had the huskiness of just waking up in the morning.
Natalie nodded and snuggled closer into his embrace.
"It's only 7 o'clock, let's sleep a bit more."
She leaned against Adrian's chest, exhausted from making love with him until the early hours of the morning.
She couldn't understand how Adrian had so much energy, seemingly tireless.
Adrian's embrace was warm, a warmth Natalie hadn't felt in a long time.
She snuggled further into Adrian's blanket, and he opened it up to let her in, holding her close.
He had a faint scent of mint. Although he smoked, the smell of tobacco was very light, almost negligible.
Adrian's arm wrapped around her slender waist, "I'll have my bodyguard Callum Bryant stay here with you while you film. If you need anything, just ask him."
"Callum, the tall guy who follows you around?"
"Yeah, he's Brice's brother. Just tell him if you need anything."
"I don't need anything, and no one will bully me. Did you forget? Even Finnian, the CEO of Dynamic Entertainment, listens to me. Who would dare to bully me?"
"That Finnian, he's not straightforward. If it weren't for his decent management skills, I would have replaced him already. Your previous manager Heather was quite capable. I've investigated, and Heather has a good reputation in the industry."
"Heather is still young and lacks the experience to be a CEO. Finnian may seem a bit superficial, but he's been with Dynamic Entertainment for many years and hasn't made any major mistakes."
Adrian's subordinates recently found some evidence of Finnian's embezzlement, but since it wasn't too outrageous, Adrian didn't bother with it.
At 9 AM, Natalie took the morning off to help Adrian pack his suitcase.
He didn't have many clothes in his suitcase, even though he had been in Suncrest City for several days, he only had one suitcase.
Rachel was reluctant to let Adrian leave, "Adrian, can't you stay a few more days?"
"I wish I could, but there's work at the company. Call Mom more often. She's worried about you being away for so long, and Ruben was just saying at home that he's afraid you'll be bullied out there."
"Who would bully me? I'm the one who bullies others."
Natalie finished packing the suitcase, and Callum and the others arrived to drive Adrian to the airport. Both Natalie and Rachel went along.
At the airport, Rachel hugged Adrian, "Adrian, I don't want you to go."
"I'll come to see you whenever I can." Adrian's voice was unusually gentle. He glanced at Natalie standing behind, his eyes carrying a faint smile, "I'm leaving."
Natalie nodded.
Rachel tactfully stepped aside, "Alright, I'll give you and Natalie some space."
Natalie walked up to Adrian.
The airport was filled with people coming and going.
Wearing a hat and mask, Natalie watched as Adrian lifted her hat slightly and kissed her forehead, "I have to board now."
"Okay."
Natalie looked at him, "Goodbye."
Callum stayed by Natalie's side. He looked at her, "Mrs. Howard, my name is Callum. You might not have seen me before. I'm Mr. Howard's bodyguard. Mr. Howard instructed me to stay by your side and ensure your safety."
