Chapter 1095 Bella Faints
Liliana vaguely remembered the whole thing causing a big buzz online. "Wasn't it that actress who married into a rich family? She and her husband got into a car accident, right?"
"Yeah, how is she?" Bella grabbed Liliana's hand, her eyes full of worry, dreading any bad news.
Liliana shook her head, trying to recall. She wasn't really into celebrity gossip.
Bella started shaking, thinking, 'Did Natalie die?'
She couldn't wrap her head around it.
Her lips turned pale, and her face lost all color.
Overwhelmed, Bella closed her eyes and passed out.
Liliana panicked. "Mrs. Reynolds, Mrs. Reynolds!"
"Kade, Kade, come quick! Mrs. Reynolds fainted!"
Kade, the butler at Golden Crest Manor, rushed over and called Nicholas, but some strange woman answered, "Nicholas is resting. Don't bother him unless it's urgent."
Kade frowned, "Get Mr. Reynolds on the phone now. If something goes wrong, you'll be in big trouble!"
The call abruptly ended.
Kade had never been hung up on like that before. When he tried calling again, Nicholas's phone was off.
Kade quickly called the family doctor.
The doctor showed up in about 10 minutes, checked Bella, and said, "The baby's fine. Mrs. Reynolds fainted from shock. A little stress won't hurt, but too much can be dangerous. I've got some meds for her to take when she wakes up. You can call her name to wake her."
Kade saw the doctor out.
Liliana stayed with Bella in her room.
After about twenty minutes, Bella slowly came to, her vision a bit fuzzy.
But her mind cleared up fast.
'Natalie, what happened to Natalie?' Bella thought, trying to sit up.
Liliana helped her. "Ms. Swan, how are you feeling?"
Bella's lips quivered. "What happened to Natalie? You still haven't told me. Liliana, please, let me go. She's my best friend. She's in danger."
Normally, Bella might've accepted being stuck here. But with Natalie in danger, she couldn't just sit around.
Liliana quickly tried to calm her down. "Ms. Swan, you need to stay calm. I don't remember the details. It was news from a month ago. I don't really keep up with celebrity stuff. Don't worry, I'll check my phone. You rest here. I'll be right back."
Earlier, Bella got caught trying to sneak Liliana's phone to call the cops while she was asleep.
So now all the servants' phones had tracking systems.
Liliana's phone was taken away, and only Kade had a working phone.
To ease Bella's mind, Liliana went to Kade to get her phone back.
Bella picked up the tablet again, but she couldn't find any new info about Natalie. The more she read, the more anxious she got.
