Chapter 502 Samantha Gets Permanently Banned

Lydia was like, "Mindy, Natalie..."

Mindy shot Lydia a death glare and snapped, "Shut down all of Samantha's gigs, right now, until her contract's up."

Samantha had this eight-year deal with Dynamic Entertainment, and they were just one year in.

Mindy basically wanted to blacklist Samantha for good.

Samantha started freaking out. "Mindy, I don't get it! I'm the one who got hit! Please, don't blacklist me forever!"

Mindy just ignored her and walked off after dropping the bomb.

Lydia was losing it too. She'd never seen anything like this. She rushed after Mindy. "Mindy, what the heck is going on? Even if Samantha messed up, a permanent ban is overkill. She's got tons of deals and a lead role in a TV show coming up. Her big break in Esme's film hasn't even aired yet."

"Enough!" Mindy cut her off. "Lydia, don't you get it?"

Lydia was totally lost. "What's Natalie's deal? Isn't she just some newbie we signed?"

Mindy sighed. "Lydia, the person backing her could make Dynamic Entertainment vanish with a snap. You and I are nothing to him. You can't even imagine his power."

Lydia was floored.

Mindy's words hit hard. Lydia finally got it.

Mindy went on, "This is all on Samantha. If you wanna stick up for her, you can get blacklisted too and leave Dynamic Entertainment."

Lydia quickly backed off. "No way." She wasn't about to throw her career away for Samantha.

Mindy stormed off, still fuming.

Lydia went back to the studio and immediately distanced herself from Samantha.

Samantha crumpled to the floor, and Tessa tried to hold her up. They both looked like they were in a daze.

Heather finally snapped out of it too.

She let out a long breath, still trying to process everything.

Natalie pulled out her phone and called Derek to come pick her up. She had plans with Bella that afternoon.

While waiting by the curb, Heather ran over. "Natalie."

She still looked shell-shocked.

Everything that just went down felt unreal.

Natalie glanced at her. She knew Heather would be a key ally down the line. She didn't want to keep secrets from her, but explaining her connection to Adrian was tricky.

Natalie gave a small smile, the breeze lifting her hair. "Pretty wild, huh?"

Heather nodded. "I always thought you were..."

Heather trailed off. She'd always seen Natalie as a struggling newbie at Dynamic Entertainment, not realizing she had serious backing that could blacklist Samantha with a word.

After spending time with Natalie, Heather had come to know her character.

If Samantha and the others hadn't pushed her so far today, Natalie wouldn't have snapped.

She was usually kind, gentle, and patient.

"Natalie, you're incredible. Why do you want me as your agent?" Heather felt unworthy.

Even though she'd been in the biz for a few years, her resources and connections were bottom-tier. The only gigs she could get were from schmoozing with a few low-budget directors.

Natalie took Heather's hand. "Because I believe in you, and I need you."

Her eyes were clear and sincere, her voice soft but firm.

Heather was taken aback, suddenly feeling moved. She gripped Natalie's hand tightly. "Natalie, I can't promise much. I don't have many skills or connections, but I swear I'll never betray you and I'll give it my all!"
