"Curtis, how do you know this big star? She's super famous. Yeah, it's Natalie!" But no matter how hard he tried, this friend of Curtis couldn't remember much.
Friends and relatives of the Cullen family might not have all met Natalie, and even if they had, they wouldn't pay much attention to a servant's daughter.

Curtis grinned, "I've known Natalie for ages. She's my friend's daughter."

Natalie kept smiling, "Of course."
Alice was burning with jealousy.
Right now, Natalie was the center of attention, with everyone praising her.
Alice gritted her teeth, wanting to lash out, but Avery grabbed her hand, shaking her head at her.
Alice felt really wronged and super scared.
'Could Curtis know that Natalie is actually his daughter? Otherwise, why would he invite her over? No!' Alice shuddered to think further.
The waiter had already served all the dishes.
At the dining table, everyone congratulated Curtis on his birthday as he cut the cake.
Natalie took a piece and chatted casually with Curtis. Even though Curtis was her father, Natalie didn't feel any familial affection towards him, her heart very calm at this moment.
Fighting down her fury, Avery shot a malevolent glance at Natalie.
But Natalie just responded with a smile and looked at Curtis, "Mr. Cullen, I've been filming these past few days and wasn't planning to come back today, but something happened at home."
Curtis asked, "What happened? You must be busy filming. In Vachilit, the Cullen family is also your family. Tell me if anything's wrong."
"Rosalie was found to be hit on the head in her yard and is in the hospital," Natalie said.
"What?" Curtis was stunned and didn't notice the change in how Natalie addressed Rosalie.
"She was at home, and it seems someone intentionally tried to harm her. The police have been notified and are investigating. Rosalie's in the hospital now. Mr. Cullen, you've known her for so long, you should go see her when you have time. I'm sure Mrs. Cullen would understand."
Avery stared at Natalie with a stiff expression.
Curtis frowned, "How could this happen? Have they found the culprit? Is Rosalie seriously injured?"
"Quite serious."
Curtis nodded, "I'll go see her tomorrow. Have the police found anything?"
His concern for Rosalie was genuine.
And Avery had been holding back. Hearing Rosalie's name made her want to explode, as if she wanted to tear Natalie apart.
Meanwhile, Alice seemed to turn into a statue. Upon hearing that Rosalie was in the hospital, not dead, and that the police were involved, she remained unmoved.
Her hand trembled, the spoon in her hand falling, making a crisp clink as it hit the plate.
The room was lively, with people chatting and laughing after a few rounds of drinks.
The sound of the spoon falling wasn't loud. But Natalie caught it keenly.
