Chapter 1232 Andrea Secretly Altered Rachel's Handwriting

Old wounds hadn't healed yet, and new ones were piling up.

Time passed like this, from elementary school to high school, she lived in the oppressive Lawson family, always in fear.

She discovered that Jamie had recently been going to Street Heart Garden, a place between the Howard Mansion and the school.

She secretly followed him and saw Jamie take out a box from the bushes near the pavilion in the garden, a smile appearing on his face.

Every time he got hurt, Jamie would come here, to the same spot, and take out a box of something.

Andrea came here when Jamie wasn't around and found that it seemed to be a box of ointment and some food.

The food looked quite ordinary; sometimes it was burnt egg tarts, sometimes cakes or cookies, all of average quality, seemingly made by someone who wasn't good at cooking.

But Jamie ate it every time he saw it, without any sign of disdain.

Andrea kept hiding in the shadows, observing who was giving Jamie these things.

Finally, one day she discovered it was Rachel.

She hadn't expected that Rachel liked Jamie.

And Jamie, he actually smiled at Rachel!

Seeing Jamie's usual cold demeanor towards Rachel, it seemed he didn't know that it was Rachel who brought him things and medicine here every day.

Andrea felt like she had discovered a huge secret.

She was a voyeur.

Every few days, when she saw Jamie going downstairs to the small garden, she would quietly hide in the shadows, watching Jamie take out things.

This time it was a small wooden box containing a handmade little doll and some snacks.

Although they were simple, ordinary, and cheap things, Andrea saw a smile appear on Jamie's usually icy face.

This place was like a secret garden.

However, it wasn't just two people who knew about it; there was also Andrea.

After discovering this secret, Andrea couldn't sleep for several nights.

She consciously probed Jamie about Rachel, and seeing Jamie's indifferent and cold demeanor, she knew Jamie didn't know that the person in the garden was Rachel.

She didn't immediately reveal the secret she had discovered about the two of them.

Andrea was jealous of Jamie's warm smile towards Rachel.

She tried to cozy up to Rachel to get information about Adrian, but Rachel always looked at her with disdain.

She hated Rachel.

She loathed Rachel.

If the Howard family didn't have Rachel, she would be the only daughter of the Howard family.

Even if there was no blood relation.

Andrea admitted that she was insanely jealous.

She was oppressed in the Lawson family.

She had a cowardly mother and a sadistic, abusive father.

Nathaniel sometimes looked at her with a strange expression, and she was afraid, afraid that she would end up like Jamie, kneeling on the ground and getting beaten.

After all, Nathaniel didn't even spare his own wife.

Andrea wanted to break free from this cage.

Jamie and Rachel's secret garden continued for a long time until one day, Andrea arrived at the garden early.

She watched for a week, making sure Rachel wasn't around, and secretly opened the wooden box.

Inside, besides some food and medicine, there was a note.

Andrea opened the note.

[Jamie, I've liked you for a long time. If you like me too, can we meet here tomorrow at 7 PM?]

Andrea kept the note.

She rewrote a new one: [Jamie, can we meet here tomorrow at 9 PM?]

After changing the note, she put it back in the box.

Andrea then left.
