Chapter 381 The Actress with the Shortest Contract Duration

After signing with Natalie, Mindy suggested taking her out for a meal. Natalie agreed, and they left the lounge. Karen also stepped out of Lounge 1, but Alice wasn't around today. Lounge 1 was Alice's usual hangout, and it had been redecorated to her taste.

Karen looked at Mindy. "Heading out, Mindy?"

Mindy smiled. "Natalie, meet Karen Martinez, another agent from our company."

"Nice to meet you, Karen," Natalie said confidently, extending her hand.

Karen shook her hand. "Nice to meet you too."

After Mindy and Natalie left, Karen couldn't help but notice how much Natalie resembled Alice. She went back to the lounge, pulled out her phone, and called Alice. "Alice."

"What is it, Karen?" Alice asked, lying on the couch and painting her nails. She glanced at her makeup cabinet full of nail polish but could only use light, transparent colors. Claire and Melissa insisted it was better for the baby.

Alice raised an eyebrow, thinking it was overkill.

The Howard family controlled everything, even banning her from wearing high heels.

Karen said, "I just saw Natalie at Dynamic with Mindy."

"What did you say?" Alice's voice shot up.

She almost stood up. "Say that again."

Karen continued, "It's true. She looks almost exactly like you. I almost mistook her. She and Mindy were in Conference Room 2 for a long time. When Mindy left, she had a document, probably a contract."

Alice put down her phone. "Wait for me, I'm coming over."

Natalie and Mindy picked a nearby restaurant for their meal.

Natalie took a bite of steak and looked out the window.

Mindy said, "You look a lot like Alice. If it weren't for your outfit, I might have mistaken you."

"Now, do you still think we look alike?" Natalie asked with a faint smile.

Mindy looked at her seriously. After a couple of minutes, she said, "Not anymore. Your vibe is completely different. You don't have that arrogant and domineering aura she has. Your features are similar, but she looks more gaudy. Although beautiful, she lacks a unique personal style in the entertainment industry. The industry doesn't like arrogant people."

"Alice and I practically grew up together. The difference is, my mom worked for her family, and I was the maid's daughter. I've asked myself countless times why we look so alike but have completely different backgrounds." Natalie smiled self-deprecatingly.

"Natalie, give me five years, and you'll be very famous," Mindy said seriously, "Actually, it won't even take five years. Three years will be enough."

They clinked glasses, and Natalie took a sip of red wine. Her gaze fell outside the window as a black car drove by. She raised an eyebrow and smiled faintly.

Mindy noticed it too. As one of Dynamic Entertainment's top agents, she had a keen eye. That car belonged to the Cullen family, and it could only be Alice heading this way.

Karen must have immediately informed Alice about Natalie signing with Dynamic Entertainment. And Alice, she couldn't wait to come over.

Natalie curved her lips. She was really looking forward to Adrian's reaction.

Alice would definitely be unhappy and would probably cause a scene at the Howard Group, complaining to Adrian and asking him to pressure Dynamic Entertainment to terminate the contract.

Natalie wondered whether Adrian would do listen to her. She wasn't entirely sure.

She looked at Mindy with a teasing smile. "Do you think I might become the artist with the shortest contract duration at Dynamic Entertainment?"
