Bella looked at the afternoon tea in front of her and at Liliana's kind, chubby face. "Liliana, you don't get it."
Liliana plopped down on the couch. "But I can see Mr. Reynolds cares about you a lot. When he brought you back last night, he was so gentle and told me to take good care of you."
Bella let out a cold, mocking laugh.
Nicholas and Austin had teamed up to trick her.
Even her marriage certificate with Austin was fake.
She was actually married to Nicholas.
She had actually spent her wedding night with Nicholas.
She raised her hand and gently placed it on her belly, thinking, 'This child might be more trouble than a blessing. But if I was gonna give up, it would've been easier when I first found out about the baby. Now, I've grown attached to the little one inside me. I can't bear to be separated from the baby now.'
Bella lowered her gaze.
The nourishing soup on the table had already cooled, and she hadn't touched it.
Liliana tidied up the table as Bella asked, "Liliana, how long have you been working here?"
