Chapter 1165 Sincerity

"Well, I remember Brice saying that you were the bodyguard he found for Natalie, a retired veteran. I've seen your file; you were in the international mercenary corps. What rank were you?"

Derek replied, "S."

The S rank was the highest level in the international mercenary organization.

This wasn't just about being able to take down four or five big guys, as Brice had mentioned.

"An S-rank colonel working as a bodyguard for an actress seems like a waste of talent."

"Just trying to make a living, Mr. Howard. You offered a high price, so I accepted."

"Then why are you not accepting it now?"

Derek said, "Naturally, I found a better opportunity."

Adrian didn't ask further and hung up the phone.

Derek wiped the sweat from his forehead.

'It seems that calling Natalie's phone isn't something to be done lightly; both times Mr. Howard answered. Although Mr. Howard has amnesia now, he should still be good to Natalie, right?'

8:30 AM.

Caspian and Everett arrived at the entrance of Dynamic Entertainment Media's building.

Everett said, "Look, look, the number one agency in the entertainment industry! Look at how grand this sign is, and the location, it's worlds apart from our shabby studio."

Caspian looked up at the towering building.

The two walked inside.

"Mr. Reyes and Mr. Stevens, right? Heather is already in the office."

The receptionist led them to the elevator.

Everett, upon hearing this, said, "She's already here? She starts work this early? This is bad, we're late. I started driving here at 8 AM. Don't you guys start work after 9?"

Caspian frowned as well.

Seeing their nervous expressions, the receptionist smiled, "It's okay, don't be nervous. Heather always comes in early, sometimes she even stays overnight in the office."

"The more capable a person is, the harder they work. I get it now. No wonder Heather became the top agent and managed to bring out a star like Natalie. I can't even compare to a strand of her hair."

The receptionist laughed, "Don't be discouraged. I remember when Heather first joined Dynamic Entertainment, she was a newbie too. Everyone has a chance."

Dynamic Entertainment was the top agency in the entertainment industry, with many artists coming in every day.

The staff were used to seeing celebrities, so they weren't surprised to see Caspian, although many of the girls blushed because he was very handsome.

The receptionist led them to Heather's office door and knocked, "Heather, Caspian and Everett are here."

Heather looked up from her laptop, "Come in and have a seat."

The two walked in.

A staff member brought them coffee.

Heather's office had a private rest area with a bed and a wardrobe, and the outer area was a workspace with a sofa that could seat four or five people.

"This is the contract prepared by the company. You two can take a look, and if there are no issues, you can sign it."

Caspian picked up the contract and glanced at it. There were basically no issues. She looked at the profit split, which was a fair 50-50.

For a washed-up country music singer like him, it was rare and sincere for a big company like Dynamic Entertainment to offer a 50-50 split.

Everett had no issues with the profit split either.

Previously, when he and Caspian negotiated with other second-tier companies, they were pressed down to a 30% split, and only offered 40% if they signed a 10-year long-term contract.

Dynamic Entertainment, however, offered a 50% split for a 5-year contract, which made both Everett and Caspian very satisfied.
