Chapter 1270 The Fairy After Getting Drunk

Finnian said, "Since your party is over, just go back. I'll have the driver pick you up."

Penelope looked at the disconnected phone and sighed helplessly.

She staggered to the underground garage and waited for over ten minutes, but the driver never showed up.

She was about to call Finnian to ask about the driver, but her phone ran out of battery and shut down automatically.

This was an upscale private entertainment club in Suncrest City, known for its privacy, and ordinary people couldn't get in.

She went upstairs, intending to book a private room to rest and charge her phone.

After a few bottles of alcohol, even with her high tolerance, she was exhausted.

She booked a room and walked over, supporting herself against the wall.

She was used to it—used to having no one to help her, used to walking a lonely, thorny path by herself.

In the entertainment industry for the past few years, she had learned a lot.

Those people around her, being nice to her, flattering her, it was all because she was famous.

When she wasn't famous, she was bullied, her scenes were cut, and anyone could step on her.

Now that she had reached the top tier, she wasn't even that happy.

She walked towards the private room.

Third floor.

Room 306.

Suddenly, she felt nauseous, her stomach churning, and she turned to the restroom.

Coming out of the restroom.

Suddenly, a drunken middle-aged man came out of the men's restroom, glanced at her, and grabbed her hand, "Baby, who let you out? Get back in there."

Penelope struggled.

"Let go of me! What are you doing! Security, security!"

She hadn't expected something like this to happen.

The middle-aged man reeked of alcohol, clearly drunk, and wouldn't let go of Penelope's hand.

He leaned in to kiss her, but Penelope pushed him away forcefully. The man was even stronger.

Suddenly, a figure stepped in front of Penelope and pushed the middle-aged man away.

At this moment, a waiter also arrived.

Apologizing for what had happened.

The middle-aged man was taken back to the private room by his companions, muttering apologies about being too drunk.

Penelope was a bit unsteady.

A hand gently supported her waist.

The man looked at her.

Penelope steadied herself and looked at the person in front of her, her vision blurry.

The figure before her overlapped, vaguely revealing a handsome face. He was very tall, dressed in black.

Penelope sensed he was different from the drunken man who had harassed her.

She hoarsely said, "Thank you. Could you please take me to Room 306?"

She needed to rest in that room, sober up, drink some water, and charge her phone.

The man didn't refuse, letting go of her hand and allowing her to walk on her own while he followed beside her.

As she walked forward, her steps faltered, and the man supported her arm.

Seeing her flushed face from the alcohol and her smooth blonde hair, she looked like a drunken fairy.

Caspian pursed his lips, bent down, and picked Penelope up.

Penelope looked at his face.

For a moment, Penelope thought she was hallucinating.

She must be drunk. This person really looked like Caspian.

Penelope rubbed her eyes and reached out, wanting to touch Caspian's face.

Caspian carried Penelope to the door of Room 306.

A waiter followed them and opened the door with a key card.

Caspian carried Penelope inside and said to the waiter, "You know the rules here. Everything you saw tonight must remain confidential. If it gets out, you know the consequences."
