Adrian couldn't understand why he would fall for Natalie.
For the first time, he scrutinized Natalie so close.
Natalie had a pair of captivating eyes, both cold and alluring.
"Take your clothes off." Adrian released his hand, looking down at Natalie.
Natalie was stunned. She didn't move but looked at Adrian. "Here?"
Without waiting for Adrian's response, Natalie bit her red lip, hesitated for a moment, and reached for her shirt buttons.
Adrian's gaze was like appraising merchandise, making Natalie feel somewhat humiliated.
Natalie's fingers trembled slightly. "Adrian, let's go back to the bedroom."
Adrian's lips curled faintly. "Can't wait to have sex?"
Natalie's face turned pale. She wanted to put her clothes back on, but Adrian grabbed her clothes, threw them on the carpet, lifted her chin with one hand, and pinched her slender waist with the other, pressing her onto the couch. He looked down at Natalie, watching the panic flash in her eyes and her slightly trembling body.
Adrian lowered his head as Natalie closed her eyes, her body shaking, her curled eyelashes trembling.
Natalie waited for a long time but didn't feel Adrian's kiss. She opened her eyes and met a pair of mocking eyes.
He sneered, "Did you think I was going to kiss you?"
Natalie adjusted her breathing, looked at him, and it was clear Adrian was mocking her. "I did think so."
"You often act in movies, and we used to be apart a lot. When you're filming, do you seduce those actors like this, knocking on their doors at night and flingingyourself at them?" Adrian mocked.
Natalie's lips turned pale. Her fingers tightened. Natalie knew Adrian must have misunderstood her because of the news about her and Samuel on the internet, which was really hard to explain. "I didn't. I was deliberately framed and slandered by someone. Samuel and I were just discussing the script, and we came out after a few minutes."
Adrian ignored her explaination. "Did I believe you before when you gave me such explanations?"
"You never doubted me, and I didn't need to explain. There was always mutual trust between us."
"I can't believe I used to be fooled by a few words from you." Adrian was somewhat self-deprecating.
Natalie shook her head and said seriously, "No, Adrian, you have amnesia now. When you recover your memory, you'll know. You need to take care of yourself first. Only when you recover can you prepare for the second surgery. Once the shadow area in your brain is cleared, you'll regain your memory."
Her eyes lit up.
Adrian was stunned for a moment.
"Natalie, do you really want me to regain my memory?" he said with an obscure look in his eyes, "What if I can never regain my memory?"
"If you can never regain it, I'll be content because you woke up. During our car accident, you held my hand and said if we died, we would die together." Natalie said.
