Chapter 1085 Natalie Confronts Avery
Avery shot Natalie a venomous glare. "This is all your fault and Rosalie's. You two wrecked my family. Curtis and I were fine until Rosalie showed up. I know you're Curtis and Rosalie's illegitimate daughter. You won't leave Curtis alone. You look just like Alice. Do you think I'm stupid? He changed the paternity test results to make me think you're not his daughter, but you look so much like Alice. He never cared about me. He kept Rosalie close, showering her with attention every day, treating me like a fool! He even said I was jealous of others. Alice is my only daughter, and you ruined her! If it weren't for you, Alice would be the Howard family's hostess. You took everything from Alice! Natalie, you deserve to die!"
Natalie stared coldly at the hysterical Avery.
Those words, "You deserve to die," felt like an icy dagger stabbing into Natalie's heart.
Natalie tried to breathe but felt suffocated. She had no more feelings for Avery, but their blood relation made her face change at that moment.
"Yeah, I deserve to die. My mom should never have given birth to me. That way, I wouldn't be here now, and the person I love most wouldn't be in a coma because of me." Natalie's voice had a hint of sarcasm. She smiled, her lips trembling, "I hate the person who gave birth to me. I'll always hate her. I'll never forgive her in this lifetime!"
Avery was held down by two prison guards. She looked at Natalie. "You and Rosalie are both bitches! Rosalie took Curtis from me, and you took Adrian from Alice. You both deserve to die!"
At that moment, Natalie found it laughable that Avery was cursing her own biological daughter.
Natalie laughed out loud.
Avery looked at her, stunned. "What are you acting for in front of me? You and Rosalie must be happy now, right? Alice and I are both in prison, and Curtis and Adrian are yours! Alice and I have nothing left, nothing at all."
"Avery, have you ever wondered why I look so much like Alice?" Natalie asked.
"You're Rosalie and Curtis's illegitimate daughter. Stanley treated Rosalie so well, only to die with his own son, Ryan."
"Avery, do you remember Alice and I were born on the same day?" Natalie asked.
"Of course, I remember. I only regret that I was too weak after giving birth to Alice. Otherwise, I would have stormed into the nursery and strangled you!"
"Avery, I've never had a good impression of you since I was a kid. You're jealous, arrogant, and have a bad temper. You beat me, starved me, and forced me to eat scraps with the servants, kneeling on the cold floor. My hatred for you never faded, even as I grew older. You came up with the ridiculous idea of making me Alice's stand-in to secure the Howard family's support, even making me attend Alice's engagement party. You caused my child to be miscarried and threatened me with Rosalie's life. All these events made me despise you, and now, you even tried to kill me by deliberately crashing your car into me," Natalie said angrily.
