Chapter 1082 Faking Tears
Rachel knew Andrea was into Adrian too. But he was married and tight with Natalie, so what was Andrea even doing here?
Rachel blurted out, "Adrian's in a coma, and we're all exhausted. I'm his sister, Natalie's his wife, we're both going through hell. You really think you have the right to play the victim here?"
Natalie didn't expect Rachel to start mocking Andrea like that. Knowing Rachel's personality, she gently placed a hand on her shoulder and said, "Rachel."
"Alright, I get it. I won't argue with her. I'll listen to you, Natalie," Rachel replied.
Andrea bit her lip and wiped her tears. Rachel was openly mocking her, but she couldn't respond. She could only grit her teeth and endure it. "Rachel, I don't know why you're so hostile towards me. I'm sorry if I did anything wrong. Please don't stay mad at me. I woke up thinking of you as a good friend and have almost forgotten all the bad things from before."
Rachel shot back, "There's no one else here, so drop the act."
Andrea's fingers clenched tightly, her knuckles turning white.
Natalie intervened, "Alright, stop arguing. Let Adrian rest."
Rachel added, "Andrea, you should go. Jamie's bodyguards are waiting for you outside."
Andrea stood up and slowly walked to Natalie's side. "Natalie, I'll leave now. I'll come back to see Adrian another day."
"Okay." Natalie saw Andrea struggling to walk, so she helped her out of the room. Outside, Jamie's bodyguards were waiting at the door. When they saw Andrea come out, they immediately helped her into a wheelchair.
Andrea politely said, "Thank you, Natalie."
"You're welcome. Take it slow."
Andrea didn't leave immediately but softly said, "Natalie, Rachel and I have some minor conflicts, but I hope it won't affect our relationship. You're Adrian's wife, and I respect you and appreciate you being by Adrian's side. Natalie, I know you might not like me much either, but I hope you won't stop me from visiting Adrian."
Andrea looked as if Natalie had driven her out and wouldn't let her see Adrian.
Natalie smiled, "You can come anytime, but you also need to take care of yourself since you're still recovering."
Andrea smiled through her tears. "Thank you, Natalie."
After Andrea left, Natalie dropped her smile and turned back to the room.
When Rachel saw Natalie return, she immediately said, "Natalie, you didn't see Andrea's face when she was in the room with Adrian. You probably don't know that she likes Adrian."
"Of course, I know."
"Then why are you being so generous?" Rachel said, "She was a pro at faking tears and has fooled Ruben, Melissa, Joe, Claire, and Jamie. It makes it look like I'm bullying her. Do you believe she'll go back and cry to Jamie, saying we teamed up to bully her and wouldn't let her see Adrian?"
Natalie naturally believed it. "Alright, Rachel. If Andrea wants to visit, let her. As she said, you grew up together, and she naturally has a close relationship with Jamie and Adrian. Plus, she saved Adrian. I can't stop her from coming in."
