Chapter 1113 Just Fulfilling a Bet
"After a month, we're done! No more clinging, got it?" Rachel whispered.
Bobby's voice dropped even lower. "Rachel, are you really this cold?"
Hearing him call her Rachel, with that hurt look and raspy voice, she felt a bit awkward.
"We had a deal, just one month! It was just a bet!" Her voice softened.
Bobby stared at her, his eyes dark and deep, like a knowing whirlpool.
Rachel felt uneasy under his gaze. With Bobby looking at her like that, she felt a bit suffocated.
She turned away, avoiding his eyes, and said, "We're just fulfilling the bet."
After a while, his intense gaze was still there.
She thought Bobby would say something. But he didn't.
Rachel looked at him again, and Bobby was already slumped over the table, seemingly asleep.
Rachel was speechless.
Looking around, she saw Dwayne was also out cold.
Everyone who had been drinking had too much.
The remaining girls, some still sober, called for a ride, while others chatted about gossip, clothes, and bags.
Rachel fiddled with her phone out of boredom. She opened the camera, aimed it at Bobby's face, and snapped a picture.
She realized what she had done and was a bit stunned.
Looking at her phone, she had to admit Bobby was quite handsome, sunny, spirited, and carefree.
His face was almost flawless, fitting perfectly into Rachel's aesthetic.
Rachel had grown up around Adrian and Donte, both handsome in their own ways. She was almost immune to good-looking guys.
Being around Adrian every day, she had no interest in those handsome male celebrities.
So as she grew up, she only admired strong men, which led her to enjoy watching Robbie on the racetrack.
At this moment, looking at Bobby's face, Rachel thought he looked pretty good, a bit more youthful than Adrian, but just as handsome.
Rachel raised her hand and lightly patted her flushed cheeks.
The birthday party didn't wrap up until after 11 PM.
Almost everyone had drunk too much.
Rachel supported Bobby. He looked thin, but he was tall, and his weight pressed down on Rachel.
Her steps were a bit unsteady. It was her first time being so close to a guy that she could clearly feel his breath.
Rachel's heart was beating a bit fast.
"Bobby, Bobby, wake up," she gently called his name.
Hestia walked over. "You and Bobby aren't going the same way. How about I take him home?"
Rachel glanced at Hestia. "He's my boyfriend. Why should you take him?"
Hestia gritted her teeth. "Bobby doesn't even like you. Being with you is just for fun. I've known Bobby for four years. When I met him, you didn't know him."
"You are Hestia, right?" Rachel looked at her. "Whether he likes me or not has nothing to do with you, right?"
