"Maybe tomorrow, a bunch of people will be after her. No one in showbiz is squeaky clean, and even if they are, dirt can be made up. But even if her career tanks, she's still married into a super-rich family. If she can't hack it in the industry, she can just live off the family fortune," her friend said.
Juniper chimed in, "She's married and still hooked up with Samuel. If Adrian finds out, he's gonna divorce her on the spot."
"Who knows? Rich families care a lot about their image. Didn't Natalie get all those sweet gigs because she's the Howard family's hostess? Bet she's kicking herself for doing those shitty things. If I were Natalie, I'd hunt down whoever leaked that video and make them pay!"
Juniper's face shifted. "What's this got to do with the person who leaked the video? Natalie's personal life is a mess."
"True," her friend agreed, "But still, Samuel and Natalie must be fuming at whoever leaked it. I heard a bunch of media outlets are trying to track this person down. Whoever did it is pretty gutsy, managing to film that video. I heard it was shot during the filming of Rising Winds, which is still in theaters. The box office is probably gonna take a hit, and the higher-ups in the Rising Winds crew must be pissed too."
Juniper was getting more and more anxious. She couldn't keep chatting and hung up, tossing and turning in bed.
'Even though I've been in the industry for over ten years, I haven't made a big impact. Most of my roles are supporting ones, and the shows where I was the lead flopped. The power behind Samuel and Natalie is way out of my league. If Star Entertainment finds out I leaked the video, they'll drop me like a hot potato and leave me to face the backlash.' Thinking of this, Juniper got even more scared and deleted the Facebook app from her phone.
Even though she had changed her IP address, tech was so advanced it could be traced back quickly.
Juniper thought, 'I can't just sit here. I have to do something. I shouldn't have released the video. I was too reckless. It'd be smarter to use this chance to get some money out of Natalie than to ruin myself. I don't know what to do. In this industry, there aren't many people I can trust, except my agent.'
Juniper immediately called her agent.
Late at night, her agent Sunny came to Juniper's room, looking a bit annoyed. "It's so late. What do you need me here for? Couldn't you just tell me over the phone? What's so urgent?"
Juniper closed the door. "Sunny, you gotta help me."
Sunny looked at Juniper's face, which was pale and panicked. She started to get suspicious, "What's going on?"
"Sunny, did you see the stuff about Natalie and Samuel on Facebook?"
"Yeah, who hasn't? Everyone in the industry is probably glued to it tonight. It's about Samuel and Natalie, two big names. This is huge news. The video looks real, and neither of them has commented yet."
Juniper sat on the bed. "Sunny, do you think Samuel and Natalie would forgive the person who leaked the video if they found out who it was?"
