Chapter 678 The Perfect Crying Scene

Natalie nodded and flicked her hair back. "You think I went overboard with Samantha?"

Natalie was a sweetheart, never one to stir up drama.

Even when drama found her, Natalie just stayed chill and didn't get involved.

Heather jumped in, "Natalie, your biggest problem is you're too nice."

Natalie raised an eyebrow, "For real?"

"Yeah, totally." Heather shook her head. "You're too nice. You don't have to babysit everyone. Don't beat yourself up. And Samantha? She had it coming! People like her deserve what they get!"

"We're all just trying to get by; it's tough," Natalie sighed, rubbing her temples. She shut the script she'd been staring at, her eyes feeling strained.

Heather handed her a cup of water, and she took a sip. "If Summer Time does well and Samantha shapes up, let's think about lifting that ban. I was just super pissed when I did it."

Heather nodded, "Alright. If Samantha gives a real apology and changes her attitude, I'll chat with Mindy about lifting the ban and letting her do some roles and press stuff at Dynamic Entertainment Media. Sounds good?"

Natalie smiled. "Yeah, that works. Thanks, Heather."

Heather grinned, "You're too nice. I hope Samantha gets her act together. If she messes with you again, she's done!"

Natalie chuckled, "Okay, I'll follow your lead, Heather."

As the filming of Rising Winds was wrapping up, the movie's climax was just kicking off.

Today, the crew was shooting a wild car chase scene with Landon and some cops going after the villian. They were filming on location, and they even blew up a building, sending sparks everywhere. This scene was the big finale.

This was the second time Landon and Zoey got separated.

Landon was inside, Zoey was outside.

Zoey's scream was gut-wrenching. "Landon!"

This was also the big moment for Landon's fake death.

Zoey wanted to rush in, but the explosion's aftershock made her dizzy.

"Landon!" Zoey dropped to her knees, crying, as a cop held her back.

Natalie's crying scene was seriously heart-breaking. Her lines were on point, and her emotions were raw. Oscar had grown to really respect Natalie's acting throughout the shoot. He always thought her crying scenes would be killer, and she nailed it in one take.

As Natalie knelt there crying, Oscar couldn't help but think some people were just born to act.

Even if some doubted Natalie, she'd shut them up with her skills.

Oscar was sure once this crying scene aired, it would get mad praise from the audience.

And when the movie dropped, Natalie's status would skyrocket. Her talent and shine would be undeniable.

Natalie stayed in character for a while. Her eyes felt numb, tears just kept coming.

Heather threw a coat over Natalie and helped her up. Natalie slowly came back to herself. For the first time, she felt the magic of the script. No matter how many roles she played in the future, she'd never forget Zoey and this moment.
