Chapter 334 Do You Want to the Truth?
Dorothy stepped out of the elevator with drinks and a fruit platter, just as Natalie exited the one on the right. "Hey, Natalie, can you take this to room 606? I need to hit the restroom."
"Sure, but hurry up," Natalie replied, grabbing the platter.
"Thanks," Dorothy said, walking away. She heard knocking and a door opening behind her, knowing Natalie had gone in. She quickly texted Emma: [Manager Kroger, Natalie is in.]
Inside the room, a man called out, "Waitress, come pour the wine."
Natalie set down the fruit platter. A few women were chatting and singing. She grabbed a bottle of red wine, opened it, and walked over. She paused for a second, then continued.
She saw a man’s back—it was Adrian. He wore a black suit, had broad shoulders, short hair, and a black mole on his neck. As she got closer, she smelled his cologne mixed with tobacco and alcohol.
Natalie poured wine into the glasses.
Colby looked up, eyes lighting up. He glanced at Adrian and said, "Pour some for Adrian. His glass is empty."
Natalie walked over and filled Adrian's glass. Just as she finished, she heard a male voice. "How's my luck?"
Natalie didn't answer, just stared at the carpet.
A man said, "Waitress, Adrian is asking you."
Natalie was surprised Adrian recognized her without turning around. But thinking that she had recognized him from his back, she found it reasonable. She poured him a drink, and he probably knew it was her through her profile.
She looked at Adrian's cards. "Mr. Howard, do you want the truth?"
Adrian nodded. "Yes."
Natalie pursed her lips. "It's terrible." She stepped back.
The men playing cards burst into laughter.
"Hahaha, you're bold."
"Adrian, looks like your car is mine tonight. Even a waitress can see your luck is terrible. Hand over the keys now."
"I heard Adrian's car is modified. He's had it for less than half a month."
Adrian glanced at his cards and said to Natalie, "The car keys are in my pocket. Get them for me."
Natalie looked at Adrian's black trousers, bent down, reached into his pocket, and found the keys. She quickly placed them on the table.
Adrian glanced at her, took a sip of his drink, and said, "My keys are on the table. What about yours? If I win, Arnold, your new Porsche is mine."
Arnold Sanders chuckled, not worried about losing. He took out his car keys and tossed them on the table. "Adrian, if you win, not just the keys, but this watch too." He took off a Patek Philippe watch.
Everyone in the room was wealthy, playing for fun.
Colby also took off his watch, saying excitedly, "Alright, I'll join in too."
Adrian raised his hand and glanced at Natalie.
