Chapter 1251 Award

"You know, I've already had the screenwriter change your character. When the show airs, we'll maximize the marketing for you. Plus, your acting is solid, and your look is great. By then, we'll use this role to get you an award."

"Really?" Penelope pouted her red lips. "Don't lie to me."

"You've been with me for three years. Why would I lie to you? When have I ever lied to you?"

"That's more like it." Penelope leaned into Finnian's arms.

At that moment, Finnian's phone rang.

Finnian answered it.

The caller was one of Finnian's assistants, who stayed at Dynamic Entertainment.

In a month, Dynamic Entertainment would have a film and television event. All the company's artists who could attend were expected to go, and only those who absolutely couldn't make it could request leave.

So far, only one person had requested leave.

Finnian asked, "Caspian? He requested leave? Who is he?"

Penelope froze when she heard Caspian's name.

Her fingers clenched tightly.

The assistant explained over the phone, "He's an artist signed by Ms. Ross, a country music singer."

Finnian hadn't heard of the name. "Why does Heather like signing these unknown small-time artists? If he doesn't want to come, then he doesn't have to."

But Finnian remembered the name now.

Unknown, yet quite arrogant.

Not attending a company event.

Even if Heather signed him, he couldn't be this undisciplined.

Penelope, seeing that Finnian seemed displeased, said, "Maybe that country music singer has something important. I've heard these niche artists are the most arrogant and don't like socializing."

"Arrogant but signed with our company? Clearly wants fame but pretends to be aloof." Finnian was disdainful of such people.

"Thinks he's talented but is actually nothing."

Penelope's brow twitched. "Alright, don't talk about him. Don't let him ruin your good mood."

Finnian looked at the woman sitting on his lap.

Penelope was very beautiful, young, and vibrant, like a rose in full bloom, stunning and passionate.

He remembered the first time he saw Penelope; she was wearing a red evening gown at a red carpet event, looking both seductive and innocent, evoking pity.

"Penelope, we've been together for three years now. Time really flies."

"Yeah, it goes by so fast." Penelope lowered her eyes.

"Your contract with Dynamic Entertainment has two years left. Have you thought about renewing it?"

Typically, artists' contracts last five, eight, or ten years.

Some less popular artists' contracts expire without renewal, and the company doesn't retain them, but they can choose to renew with the same profit-sharing terms.

But for a popular actress like Penelope, many companies were trying to poach her.

The offers were very attractive.

Penelope had some choices.

She dodged the question, "Isn't there still two years left? What's the rush?"

"Three years went by quickly; two years will go by even faster. It's just the time it takes to shoot a few films."

Penelope bit her red lips, looking deeply at Finnian. "Finnian, do you want me to renew?"

"Of course, I do."

"If you want me to renew, Finnian, shouldn't we consider our marriage?" Penelope looked at Finnian with anticipation in her eyes.

Finnian's expression wavered. "Penelope, aren't we doing great now? Why get married?"
