Chapter 123 It Turns Out, Not Natalie
Natalie raised an eyebrow.
Was he calling Natalie, not Alice?
No choice, Natalie had to quickly hail a cab to go to the Imperial Nightclub.
In the 805 private room, she pushed open the door and saw a man's long legs. A few steps forward, there were traces of broken glasses on the carpet. Then, she saw Adrian lying on the sofa, one leg propped up.
The man had his eyes closed, seemingly asleep.
The light inside the room was gentle. At this moment, a faint glow coated the man's face, his closed eyes, roman nose and handsome features which made her heartbeat.
"Mr. Howard." she called out twice, but Adrian didn't respond.
She couldn't understand why Adrian had asked her to come over.
"Hey, Adrian."
Last time, didn't he have a stomach bleed? How could he still dare to drink so much?
Her gaze fell on the bottle on the coffee table. He had drunk so much.
Suddenly, the man murmured, "Andrea."
Natalie came closely, feeling the man's warm breath on her ear and hearing the name of Andrea.
Andrea?
It turns out, not Natalie.
The woman bit her lip, looking at him. At this moment, she should stand up immediately and leave!
Melody was mistaken. He wasn't calling for her!
She knew how this man could be calling out her name.
"Hey, Adrian! Wake up, if you can wake up, walk by yourself."
She shook his shoulder, her gaze on his lips. The man's lips were thin but well-shaped. She stared at his lips, feeling her cheeks heating up. She remembered how this man had bullied her, deliberately biting her lip until it bled, making her wear a mask when going out until the wound scabbed over after a week.
"I'm leaving. Wait for your Andrea to come." Natalie said, standing up. She glanced at a blanket beside her, bent down, took it, covered the man, and then turned to leave.
Just as she took a few steps, she heard a groan from behind.
Natalie halted.
She turned around, watching as Adrian's body slowly curled up into a shrimp-like shape, his fingers pressing against his abdomen, seemingly enduring something.
"What's wrong, Adrian?"
Natalie walked over and saw Adrian tightly pressing his stomach and sweat on his forehead as if in great discomfort. The heavy smell of alcohol filled the air. Natalie knew Adrian's stomach issue had flared up. Well, she was just in it for double pay.
Natalie went out to find a bodyguard. They helped Adrian downstairs and went into the garage. She found the car keys in Adrian's pants pocket, opened the car, and had the bodyguard put him inside. The security guard at the Imperial Nightclub also knew her. "Natalie, drive slowly on the way."
"Got it."
It wasn't the first time Natalie had driven his car, and she had done it once before.
The speed wasn't fast on the road, and they arrived smoothly at the Bayview Villa, where the man lived.
Natalie didn't expect that in such a huge luxurious villa, there were no servants.
She supported the man's body, struggling to move inside.
"Hey, can you hear me?" Natalie panted as she supported him.
She was only 114 pounds, and the man was tall and heavy, weighing on her shoulders. Natalie's legs were trembling as she laboriously helped him upstairs. Every step of the stairs, she gritted her teeth, panting heavily.
The man's weight bore down entirely on her slender shoulders.
In her ears, there was the smell of alcohol from his body and his unique scent.
