Chapter 855 Visiting the Estate

This place was straight-up fancy, dripping with luxury and romance. Everything you'd expect in a high-end estate was here.

Lauchelle was definitely a stickler for details. The roses smelled amazing, never seemed to wilt, and you could find almost every type you could think of. They were blooming like crazy.

Right now, Bella was staring at the white wall of a three-story building, which was probably where the servants stayed. The building was this creamy color, and pink climbing roses covered almost half of it.

There were four villas in total: the winery, the buildings for the bodyguards and servants, and the guest villa. Out back, there was a botanical garden and a top-notch banquet hall.

The servants' and bodyguards' buildings were on either side, with the main house smack in the middle.

Marshall led Natalie, Heather, and Bella to the main building.

Marshall was a classy guy, around 50, with a bit of gray at his temples, a handsome face, and a gentle smile. Like Lauchelle said, he knew the estate inside and out and was super responsible.

As soon as they walked into the main building, they saw this massive mural, like three meters high, all about roses.

Natalie asked, "Where's Rebecca hosting the socialite dinner?"

Marshall answered, "In the banquet hall out back. I'll take you there in a bit. Everything's set up, but since the banquet got delayed, it's all just sitting there. The servants clean it every day, though."

Natalie nodded. She didn't know Rebecca, but since Lauchelle rented the place to her, she must be cool.

Marshall assured her, "Ms. Teeger, don't worry. We'll keep an eye on the banquet hall to make sure nothing gets messed up. After the banquet, we'll check everything to make sure nothing's missing."

Heather chimed in, "The guests here are all socialites, not just random people. There shouldn't be any issues, right?" It wouldn't be like those small parties where stuff goes missing.

Marshall explained, "Ms. Ross, you might not know, but the banquet hall Ms. Henderson rented is pretty special. The murals on the walls have gemstones in them. The glasses on the tables are worth thousands each, and the carpets are super valuable. If someone spills red wine or breaks a glass, we have to inventory everything. That way, it's easier to handle any claims with Ms. Henderson. Four years ago, Lauchelle rented this place to a friend for a birthday party. One of the guests pried a diamond off a crystal lamp and took it. Even though the gem wasn't super expensive, it was still part of Blue Moon Lake Estate. It hurt both Lauchelle's and his friend's reputations."

Bella blurted out, "How splendid and luxurious this place is!"

Marshall smiled. "A lot of the decor was done by Lauchelle himself. He put in a ton of effort during the renovation. I'm really glad Ms. Teeger is the owner now."

Technically, they weren't supposed to go into the banquet hall before the event, but Bella was dying to see it, so Marshall took them in for a peek.

It had to say, Rebecca had great taste.

The banquet hall was already super fancy, and after Rebecca's touch, it was even more elegant.
