Chapter 265 Breaking into the Cullen Family

Natalie walked into the property management office at 9 AM, unsure who had been to her house. "Did I come here for a key yesterday morning?"

Debra Wells, the person-in-charge, replied, "Yes, around 8:30 AM. You said you left your key at home, so we gave you a spare."

Natalie pursed her lips. "Can I see the surveillance footage?"

Debra responded, "Ms. Teeger, our surveillance footage isn't easily accessible."

Natalie said, "I lost a ring and have looked everywhere. I thought I might find it here."

Debra assured her, "Ms. Teeger, if your ring fell here, we would keep it safe."

Natalie insisted, "I want to check the footage. If it's not here, it might be somewhere else."

Debra led her to the surveillance room and had an employee pull up the footage from yesterday. "Ms. Teeger, this is from 8:35 AM yesterday when you came and left. You were here for six minutes."

Natalie watched carefully.

The woman who walked in was dressed well, wearing sunglasses, and looked like her. It was Alice.

Natalie understood immediately.

Debra asked, "Ms. Teeger, did you find the ring?"

Natalie replied, "No, I must have left it somewhere else. I'll go look for it."

She returned home and checked her drawer.

Why did Alice come to her house and go through her drawers and jewelry box? What was she looking for?

She frowned. Suddenly, her eyes froze.

The diamond pendant Rosalie had asked her to retrieve was missing!

She called Alice, but no one answered. Natalie quickly took a cab to the Cullen family home.

Renee answered the door.

Renee seemed guilty seeing Natalie. After all, they had forced their way into her house yesterday. Had Natalie found out?

Renee asked, "What are you doing here? You've moved out. Mr. and Mrs. Cullen aren't here. Get lost."

In the footage, both Renee and Alice were present.

Natalie didn't hold back. "Renee, where's Alice?"

"Ms. Cullen went out. Hey, what are you doing? How dare you barge in!" Renee tried to stop her, but Natalie stepped on her foot, causing Renee to jump in pain, shouting, "Stop Natalie!"

Lizzy heard the commotion and came out, just in time to see Natalie approaching. She hesitated, ready to stop Natalie as per Renee's orders.

Natalie looked at her without asking anything, but her gaze made Lizzy feel ashamed. Lizzy stammered, "You know I'm just a servant. Ms. Cullen asked where you lived, and I..."

Natalie hadn't known Lizzy had revealed her address to Alice. Hearing Lizzy's explanation, she paused. "So it was you."

Lizzy had known her for five or six years.

Lizzy's aunt worked at a domestic agency and had introduced Lizzy to this job. The pay was decent, and the work wasn't too hard. Lizzy was five years older than her. Initially, Rosalie had been the housekeeper here and had personally hand-picked Lizzy to work in the Cullen family home from the agency, thinking she was honest and reliable. However, when Rosalie's health declined, Renee took over as the housekeeper.

Renee loved to mistreat the servants. Both she and Lizzy had often been scolded by Renee, forming a sort of shared hardship friendship.

However, Natalie hadn't expected this friendship to be so fragile.

She smiled faintly and walked past Lizzy, heading upstairs straight to Alice's bedroom.
