Chapter 647 Avoiding Unexpected Situations

"Alright, Natalie, I know I messed up." Yvonne quickly apologized when she saw Natalie was ticked off.

Natalie gave Yvonne a once-over, noticing her eyes were still puffy. "You just got to Vilniusky yesterday and pulled an all-nighter with me for that shoot. Take a day off. Go explore, find some cool spots, grab some tasty food, and bring me back some goodies."

Yvonne's face lit up. "Thanks, Natalie."

Natalie grinned and looked back at the script. "Get Heather over here."

"Got it." Yvonne headed out to find Heather. "Heather, Natalie wants to see you."

Heather nodded; she had some stuff to talk about with Natalie anyway.

Yvonne went back to her room. As Natalie's assistant, her room wasn't as fancy as Natalie's, but it was still pretty nice for a hotel.

Yvonne whipped out her phone to update Mindy on Natalie's situation.

But when Mindy started asking about Natalie's personal stuff, Yvonne held back. "Natalie's been buried in the script since she woke up. Haven't seen her talk to Mr. Howard."

Mindy told Yvonne to keep a close eye on Natalie, especially her chats with Adrian.

But this time, Yvonne decided to keep things to herself.

Even though Yvonne was sent by Mindy to spy on Natalie, Natalie had been super nice to her. Over time, Yvonne found that Natalie was really kind and gentle, even giving her a day off to chill.

Yvonne wasn't about to betray someone who treated her well.

She knew Mindy was all about power and status. At Dynamic Entertainment, Mindy was always clashing with Karen. Karen had Alice, so Mindy brought in Natalie. But since Natalie was just Adrian's fling, if Adrian dumped her, Mindy would switch sides and suck up to Alice.

Mindy was always scheming, watching the game.

Yvonne took the money but still chose to keep some things from Mindy.

Mindy reminded Yvonne to keep tabs on Natalie and call her if there was any news.

Yvonne said she got it. After hanging up, she muttered to herself.

"Ms. Richardson's movie script is here. It's really good, fresh concept, great team." Heather handed the script to Natalie.

Victoria's script had been in the works for half a year but got delayed. Victoria's co-director got seriously ill and passed away a month ago. Victoria had worked with him for years and was really affected, but she was back on track now.

This script had been unofficially reserved for Natalie half a year ago.

But now, Natalie was tied up with Oscar's movie, which had a two-month schedule.

But filming schedules can always stretch, depending on how things go.

"This movie starts shooting in two and a half months, so it would be a smooth transition," Heather said. "Dynamic Entertainment is backing this film, and you're the lead. The script is awesome, but to avoid any surprises, I think we should sign the contract now. I've heard Alice is also gunning for the role."

Natalie glanced at the script; it was a genre she loved. Half a year ago, she had already talked about this project with Victoria.

It was a verbal agreement. But with all the delays, the movie hadn't started filming until now, and Natalie was already busy with another film.
