Chapter 1175 Claw Machine
Aurelia glanced at Marc. Marc clenched his fists, unable to resist explaining, "Aurelia, I just happened to run into Adelaide in the elevator."
But Aurelia wasn't listening; she was entirely focused on the claw machine.
Adelaide, however, didn't notice the awkward atmosphere. She glanced at Derek.
Derek was tall, with a rare physique that looked exceptionally good even to the naked eye.
His chest and abs were well-developed, visible even through his clothes. He had broad shoulders and a narrow waist, the perfect male model body.
Adelaide picked up her phone and couldn't resist taking a photo.
The sound of the photo being taken was a bit loud, but Adelaide had worked with Aurelia for three years and they were familiar with each other.
Adelaide didn't care about the details, and neither did Aurelia. She was quite happy that her boyfriend was so handsome and popular.
"Didn't catch it again," Aurelia sighed.
Aurelia looked at the coins in Derek's hand, "Is that all we have left? Can you get me some more?"
"Which one do you want?" Derek bent down slightly.
Aurelia pointed, "That one! The yellow one inside, with the pointy ears and black color."
Derek inserted a coin, and after half a minute, a yellow plush toy came out of the claw machine. Aurelia's eyes widened, "You're amazing!"
"It's really simple," Derek said honestly.
"Then I want this one too!" Aurelia looked at the red plush toy inside.
Derek still had three coins left.
"What else do you want?"
Aurelia's eyes widened, "I want this one, and this one."
"Okay," Derek said and started to act.
Aurelia covered her mouth. Derek only had three coins, and he managed to catch all three plush toys she pointed at. He was simply a claw machine expert.
Adelaide was also stunned, "Aurelia, your boyfriend is amazing!"
Aurelia was proud, "Of course."
She happily hugged the plush toys, "The movie is about to start, let's go."
Derek nodded, and Aurelia took his arm and walked towards the theater.
Adelaide was also ready to go to the theater. Where was Marc?
She turned around and saw Marc standing not far behind her. She called out to him, "They're checking tickets, let's go in."
Marc nodded, holding a yellow plush toy tightly.
At this moment, Marc's usually gentle face showed some gloom and embarrassment.
Adelaide walked over with popcorn, "Marc, you caught a plush toy."
Marc glanced at Adelaide and handed her the toy, "Just caught it randomly. I don't like it, but you girls probably do."
"Thank you, Marc." Adelaide happily accepted it.
She wasn't good at observing and didn't notice the embarrassment on Marc's face at all.
"Marc, no wonder I couldn't find you earlier. You were catching plush toys."
"Just bored, tried it randomly." Marc didn't want to talk about it anymore and said, "Do you want a Coke? I'll get one for you."
"Thank you, Marc."
Marc looked into the distance. Aurelia and Derek were already getting their tickets checked.
He pressed his lips together, hiding the disappointment in his eyes.
The movie showing tonight was the popular commercial comedy "Antique Enigma," which tells the story of the male and female leads and two friends who steal antiques from a wealthy man's house, only to accidentally discover a shocking secret, leading them on an adventure filled with hilarious incidents.
