Chapter 798 Bella is Pregnant
"Then eat as much as you want. It's on me," Natalie said with a grin.
Bella asked, "Got time today? Come over to my place this afternoon. I'll show you my new apartment; it's pretty nice, and I love the decor. You can stay for dinner too. What should we eat?"
Natalie suggested, "How about barbecue?"
"Sure. We can hit the supermarket later. A big star eating fried food here, your manager would probably freak out," Bella said, eyeing Natalie.
Natalie thought about it and realized it was true.
Most managers would lose it if they saw their artists eating high-calorie foods, but Heather probably wouldn't.
Natalie had one of those body types that didn't gain weight no matter what. She was slender but had a great figure, especially her well-developed chest, which often made Bella marvel at the unfairness of nature. Despite a light weight, Natalie had such a good figure. Since middle school, Natalie had been troubled by her large chest and wished she could be slimmer.
Natalie sent Heather a few photos and also took pictures of the pile of high-calorie foods in front of her.
About five minutes later, Heather replied: [Natalie, keep a low profile. I trust you, but I'm a bit nervous.]
Natalie replied: [When are you coming back? Aren't you with Yancy?]
Heather: [He's gone back to his hometown too. I'll be back the day after tomorrow.]
Natalie: [Take a few more days off.]
Heather: [These past two days have been enough rest.]
Heather didn't have much going on for Christmas. She didn't have many relatives back home, just a grandmother. She had given some money to a neighbor, hoping they could take good care of her grandmother and call her if anything came up.
Heather had tried several times to bring her grandmother to Vachilit. But her grandmother had refused each time.
Her grandmother said that the small town was her home and she couldn't leave.
The old lady was adamant, and Heather had no choice but to agree.
In her hometown, only her grandmother made Heather feel warm. The other needy relatives were just trying to leech off her.
After lunch, Natalie and Bella still had time, so they decided to watch a movie that had become a box office hit during the holiday season, "Chase Sound."
It was a comedy-mystery film with a broad audience. When they entered the theater, they found it packed with people of all ages. Many parents had brought their children to watch.
Natalie and Bella bought their tickets late, so there weren't many seats left. They ended up being separated but managed to switch seats with a young guy so they could sit together.
Bella said, "This director is amazing. His last movie did really well at the box office. I heard it was the Halloween box office champion."
"This is from Nicholas Entertainment," Natalie replied, then looked at Bella. "Cassidy has taken over the Reynolds Group. What about Austin and Nicholas?"
Bella sighed and lowered her eyes. "Austin still hasn't woken up, and Nicholas is still the president of the entertainment company. It seems like Cassidy doesn't plan to move against Nicholas. After all, the huge Reynolds Group is already in her hands, and a small entertainment company is just a drop in the bucket. As for Nicholas, I don't know what he's thinking. Sometimes I think he's just a frivolous playboy, and other times I feel like he's a deeply scheming person waiting for the right moment to strike back at Cassidy. It's strange that I would think a playboy has such guts! I must be imagining things."
Natalie said, "The fact that you think this way shows you understand Nicholas well. Maybe he's just waiting for the right moment."
Bella pressed her lips together. "I'm pregnant."
