Chapter 608 Candid Shot

It couldn't be that simple.

Heather immediately messaged Natalie: [Alice is in the hospital.]

Two minutes later, Natalie hadn't replied.

Heather immediately called Natalie, "Natalie, don't come over yet. Alice is here."

There might be a trap.

Alice wouldn't have good intentions.

On the other end, Natalie was silent for two minutes. "Well, that's quite a coincidence. I also want to talk to Alice."

After hanging up, Natalie stared at her phone screen and dialed a number. "Hello, is this Uncle Jerry?"

She continued,  "Rosalie suddenly fainted and is in the hospital. If you have time, you can come and see her. The doctor said her condition isn't good." She didn't say anything more and hung up.

Derek was driving and hesitated for a moment. He said, "Is Ms. Cullen causing you trouble? If so, I can report it to Mr. Howard, and he will handle it."

"Handle?" Natalie carefully pondered the word, finding it somewhat ironic. A faint smile appeared on her beautiful face, but her eyes remained emotionless.

Natalie said, "Alice is his fiancée. How could he handle it? He would only protect her, tell me to ignore her, or take a day off to keep me company and make me happy. Could he break off the engagement with Alice?"

Should she be grateful and happy just because Adrian was willing to spend a day with her?

Natalie just felt a bit stifled in her chest.

Natalie opened the car window, letting the outside wind rush in.

She felt much better.

Derek asked, "Are we still going to the hospital?"

"Yes." Natalie didn't avoid her question.

Why should Natalie avoid it?

Rosalie was the one who swapped the life that was supposed to be hers, Alice was the one enjoying the life that was supposed to be hers, and it was originally her who was supposed to be with Adrian. Alice should be the one running away at the mention of her name.

The car stopped at the hospital entrance.

Natalie didn't have an assistant or a bodyguard with her. Derek parked the car and followed her closely to prevent any accidents. They took the elevator up, and as they stepped out, Natalie immediately saw the reporters hiding by the stairs. Natalie smiled and walked straight over.

Rose and her colleague were originally taking candid shots. Seeing Natalie approach, they naturally wanted to get the hot headline news.

Anything about Natalie could make the headlines even though she currently had no notable works.

Rose watched Natalie drawing nearer, feeling a bit scared. There was a cold aura about Natalie. Rose put away her camera and stood up straight. Natalie had already walked over and signaled to Derek. Derek immediately reached out and grabbed Rose's camera.

Rose didn't react in time and screamed, "What are you doing? Give me back my camera!"

Heather heard the commotion and rushed over. "Natalie."

Natalie looked coldly at Rose. "Which entertainment media are you from? Which magazine?"

Rose didn't respond but stared at Derek. "Give me back my camera. If you don't give it back, I'll call the police and report you for theft!"
