Chapter 304 Name Your Price
Adrian's face changed, but in the dimly lit room, no one noticed. He quickly composed himself and let go of Natalie's fingers, heading back to the sofa like nothing happened.
Natalie had asked a casual question, never expecting Adrian to like her. She knew her place.
The others in the room sensed something was off with Adrian. A girl offered him a drink, but he shut her down with a cold stare. The game ended, and people started to leave.
Colby sighed and glanced at Natalie, but she had already slipped out. A new waiter stood by the wall. It seemed Adrian really had feelings for Natalie.
Natalie went to the bathroom, splashed her face with cold water, and looked at herself in the mirror. Her lips were a bit swollen, but otherwise, she looked normal. Both she and Adrian had lost control in the private room. How could she think Adrian liked her?
She returned to the private room door. By midnight, everyone had left. After cleaning up, she passed room 618 just as it opened. Men and women stumbled out, and she stepped aside. Colby and Adrian emerged, reeking of alcohol. Natalie lowered her eyes.
Colby, supporting Adrian, said, "Natalie, take Adrian home."
Natalie replied softly, "Sorry, Mr. Cook, I had a couple of drinks. I can't drive."
Colby saw through her excuse. "You really..." he sighed.
Natalie quickly added, "I've already called a driver for you two."
Colby, still supporting Adrian, followed her. He couldn't understand how Adrian had fallen for such a woman.
In the car, Adrian wasn't too drunk. He listened to Natalie making polite conversation with the driver. The air smelled faintly of cherry blossoms.
Natalie helped him with his seatbelt. As she was about to leave, Adrian grabbed her wrist tightly. He opened his eyes and looked at her.
"Mr. Howard, do you have any other instructions?" she asked, smiling formally.
Adrian's voice was hoarse and tense. "Name your price."
He couldn't ignore his desire for her or her interactions with other men. It churned his chest with a mix of anger and lust.
Natalie smiled, confused. "What price?"
"Natalie, don't play dumb," he said firmly.
