Chapter 630 Exclusion

Except for Natalie, everyone else was either fixing their makeup, chatting, or bossing around their assistants and agents. Natalie, though, was the only one with her head down, scribbling away.

Oscar noticed, too.

When he was laying out the story, Natalie whipped out her notebook and started jotting stuff down.

A woman sneered, "Natalie, what are you doing?"

Natalie, pen in hand, sketching out the plot, heard that snarky voice. Without even looking up, she knew it was Juniper, the second female lead in this drama.

Natalie took a deep breath, looked up, and gave a slight smile. "Taking notes."

Juniper covered her mouth and giggled. "Seriously? Do you think you're in high school? Taking notes might help you study, but it won't make you act better."

Juniper had been in the biz for seven years and had a brief moment of fame as the second female lead in a historical dramawith a big company backing her and her decent acting. However, she was kinda arrogant, looked down on newbies, and loved to flaunt her seniority.

Juniper got this role through an audition with her company. Her agency had invested in this drama, so there was an internal role.

Juniper auditioned for the lead, but since that was already taken, she had to compete with a few others in the company for the second female lead. In this drama, Juniper played a white-collar worker who got assassinated. Although her screen time wasn't huge, she had one of the most significant female roles after the lead.

Having been in the industry for so long, Juniper was naturally pissed about being overshadowed by a newbie with financial backing. As soon as Oscar left, she started with the sarcastic remarks.

Natalie didn't want to give Juniper the time of day. She bowed her head and reviewed her notes, prepping to go through the plot from start to finish. But Juniper seemed to feel ignored. Natalie dared to brush her off in front of the other actors, which made her face turn a bit sour.

The third female lead, Maya, who wanted to suck up to Juniper, chimed in, "Natalie, you're being too disrespectful to your seniors. Juniper has acted in way more dramas than you. You're just a newbie, and you're being too arrogant."

Juniper smiled and looked at Maya. "Maya, I heard you graduated top of your class from film academy. It's definitely different from those who didn't graduate from a professional program."

Maya, the same age as Natalie and also a newbie, played a high school student who committed suicide by jumping off a building. Although her screen time was limited, Maya was very good at kissing up. She immediately aligned herself with Juniper to ostracize Natalie.

Natalie knew that very well.

They had formed a clique to target her.

But Natalie didn't care about that stuff.

Still, she had to play nice on the surface. She couldn't start a fight before filming even began. Natalie clenched her fingers, exhaled slightly, raised her head, and put on a proper smile, calm and gentle without any aggression. "Juniper, I think you're absolutely right. I'm really looking forward to the next two months and learning from your guidance. Anything else?"

Juniper was just about to say something in her senior capacity when she saw Natalie retract her smile and bow her head to continue looking at her notes.

Juniper clenched her hands. She cursed, 'Damn it! How arrogant! A newbie dares to disregard me. Natalie, just wait for yourcoming lesson.'
