Chapter 519 Trending

Media interviews usually didn't blow up online.

But with Wendy and Penelope duking it out for the same award, it totally went viral.

Wendy's fans and Penelope's fans started throwing shade at each other in the comments.

[Does Penelope even know how to act?]

[Wendy's old stuff was good, but she should quit TV. Her new show doesn't even get a third of Penelope's viewers.]

[Penelope's dress is so last year, while Wendy's rocking haute couture. No contest! Wendy's got that international clout!]

[Wendy's four years older than Penelope, but her film and TV creds are way better. Penelope's only been big for two years, while Wendy's always been a star.]

[Get real, Penelope's shows get mad ratings. U say she can't act, but Wendy's TV drama expressions are cringe.]

[I just can't stand Wendy's shows. Her face annoys me. She only plays one type of role, unlike Penelope who's got range.]

Fans were going at it on Facebook, each side making charts to prove their fave was more famous.

In reality, even though Wendy lost an award, her spot in the industry and at Dynamic Entertainment was solid, so it didn't hit her too hard.

Penelope, though, was on the rise, backed by big money, young and gorgeous, with a ton of fans.

There wasn't really any beef between them; they were different ages and had different gigs. Penelope was all about TV dramas, while Wendy, after a flop TV show, was sticking to movies for now.

But that night, both teams were secretly throwing down.

Penelope's team was slick, hitting all the right notes. Penelope's interview was tight-lipped, while Wendy's gave people ammo to criticize.

Some netizens chimed in.

[Why's Wendy so cocky? Penelope's shows r just better. The ratings don't lie. What gives her the right to diss Penelope?]

[Yeah, didn't Wendy do a TV drama too? The ratings sucked, and her acting was trash.]

Wendy glanced at Facebook, put her phone down, and started taking off her makeup.

Her agent next to her said, "Penelope's team is playing dirty."

Wendy, a seasoned pro, just said, "Handle it."

Her agent nodded, "On it."

Dynamic Entertainment Media's anniversary gala was wrapping up.

And online, the trending topics were all over the place.

Most were about fashion and red carpet looks.

The hottest topic was the Wendy vs. Penelope drama.

Fans were going at it hard.

But there was another trending topic too.

#Natalie's Red and White Rose Gown# suddenly shot up to the top three.

Natalie didn't have many fans, and at first, the comments were:

[Who is this? Trending, really?]

[No clue who she is, where'd she come from?]

[My fave was just trending third, and she bumped them off.]
