Chapter 121 Visiting Mr. Kamel and Mrs. Kamel
He immediately called Anastasia. "Aunt Natalie doesn't seem too willing to be with me. You just left, and she left, too."
"What?" Renee Sinclair cursed David on the phone for his useless talk but said harshly. "Don't worry, I have many ways to make her agree!"
Natalie returned home and immediately took off her clothes and quickly took a shower!
Thinking of David's disgusting look, she felt a bit nauseous.
What does Avery mean? Suddenly arranging this, just the thought of Avery made Natalie's heart feel like it was being squeezed. Her mother was still under Avery's control, and this matter definitely wasn't as simple as it seemed.
As she emerged from the shower, Natalie's phone on the bed rang, and a text message appeared.
Jagger:[ Are you free on Saturday? I'll come pick you up in the evening.]
Saturday, that's the day after tomorrow.
Natalie:[Okay.]
On Saturday evening, Natalie didn't expect Jagger to take her to the Kamel Family. She felt a bit nervous and at a loss. " I'm not even prepared well. You didn't tell me that I was going to meet your parents. I could have bought some fruit and something as gifts."
"No need, my parents said it's fine as long as you can come."
Jagger's home was in Whispering Pines Community, which was an old residential area.
The rows of residential buildings came into sight. He parked in the garage, and Natalie waited at the elevator door. She tightly clasped her fingers, feeling nervous. She wasn't prepared to meet Jagger's parents.
To be honest, she wasn't prepared to accept the identity of Jagger's girlfriend.
But since she was already here, she couldn't neglect the proper etiquette. She insisted on going to a supermarket in the community to buy a carton of milk and fruits and then arrived at Jagger's house.
Jagger's father had recently been transferred to the city hospital as a deputy director, and his mother was a teacher.
Jagger came from an intellectual family with a clean family history.
In the not-so-large living room, the bright light with a hint of warm yellow gave off a cozy and warm feeling of home.
"Mom, let me introduce you. This is Natalie."
Natalie looked at the middle-aged woman in front of her, very elegant and gentle. Natalie softly said, "Hello, I'm Natalie."
Elodie Vale smiled. "Natalie, finally meeting you. Sit down, please. You are too considerable and polite, Jagger's dad and I don't lack anything, you being here is enough, why did you buy these gifts?"
Natalie put down the things in her hand, and Elodie took her hand to sit on the sofa.
While Natalie greeted Elodie with the fruit platter, she called out to the kitchen, "Natalie is here, Dorian, don't be busy with other things."
Dorian came out of the kitchen wearing an apron, and Natalie obediently said, "Mr. Kamel."
Dorian smiled. "Jagger, I've been urging you for a long time, and you finally brought Natalie over. You all wait, I've made my best Baked Chicken Parmesan tonight, it'll be ready soon."
"Where does Natalie work, and how many people are there in her family?" Elodie looked at the girl in front of her, fair and elegant, a pretty girl.
Her son is already 27 this year, so he is very picky in his choices. From high school to college, I have been working in the hospital since graduation. Many girls pursued him, but he rejected them all. Unexpectedly, her son finally changed, which made her and Dorian very happy.
Natalie was silent for two seconds, and Jagger immediately clarified, "She hasn't graduated yet. I meet her at the hospital, where I am her mother's attending physician."
