Chapter 1240 Mutual Follow on Facebook

Penelope said, "Thank you so much, I'll have some orange juice."

She took a sip of the juice and didn't leave immediately. Instead, she asked her agent to get the script from Anouk.

She glanced around the conference room, which was large and accommodated over 20 people, including the lead actors, director, producers, investors, and the writing team.

Finally, Penelope's gaze fell on Natalie.

This Natalie, even though the surroundings were noisy, seemed entirely focused on the notes in her hand, indifferent to everything around her.

When she was at Dynamic Entertainment, Finnian had warned her: "Don't mess with Natalie."

Penelope was intimidated by Natalie's status as the mistress of the Howard family and naturally didn't dare to, but she was also unwilling to give up.

This time, Finnian hoped that Penelope, as the second female lead in the crew, would get along well with Natalie and promote their "friendship" to the public.

This would be beneficial for her as well.

Although Penelope was the second female lead, she had a lot of scenes and would be with the crew for four months.

She walked over to Natalie, "Natalie, we haven't followed each other on Facebook yet, how about we do that now?"

Natalie looked up. She wasn't wearing makeup. Natalie usually didn't like to wear makeup unless she was working, filming, or doing magazine shoots. Her skin was delicate, without a trace of pores.

"Sure." She didn't refuse.

Natalie took out her phone. They indeed hadn't followed each other on Facebook, and they had rarely attended the same events. Natalie wasn't someone who liked to attend various events.

Penelope thought Natalie would be reserved, but she agreed right away, which surprised her a bit. She smiled.

"That's great. I've watched your movies before, Natalie, and I've always liked them. When I saw the script, I was really looking forward to working with you on this TV series." Penelope's words were polite but very pleasant to hear.

This improved Natalie's impression of her quite a bit.

"Hope we can have a pleasant collaboration."

At noon, Finnian suggested that the main cast have lunch together. He had reserved a table at The Seafood Shack.

Natalie had time, so she agreed.

Along with Penelope and the other two male leads, plus Finnian and Anouk, the main director and assistant director, there were eight people in total.

"This restaurant is owned by a friend of mine, and I have a stake in it. It's a chain, and we've opened eight locations so far. We're about to open one in Vachilit. The food is pretty good, you should try it. If you like it, you can come often."

Finnian said with a smile when they arrived.

Anouk politely responded, "Really? Then we should have our crew gatherings here from now on."

"No problem."

"Sounds good."

Natalie didn't refuse either; it didn't matter to her where they ate.

Finnian seemed to value Natalie's opinion.

After the dishes were served, Natalie took a sip of the seafood soup, and Finnian quickly asked, "Natalie, how's the soup? It's the restaurant's signature dish."

Natalie took a sip. It had shrimp, crab, fish paste, and some vegetables. The taste was very fresh.

She smiled and said, "It's pretty good. It seems Mr. Harrington has good taste."

Finnian laughed heartily, "This is the restaurant's signature seafood soup. We also have seafood pancakes, fish and chips, and baked scallops, all delicious and reasonably priced. Let me introduce you to the owner, Jonah Clarke. He perfected the flavor of this seafood soup after dozens of tries."
