Chapter 427 A Tough Spot

Rosalie strolled into the hospital room, looking all worried. "Ms. Cullen, you feeling any better? I brought you some soup. Cooked it all night."

Last night, Rosalie had snuck out of bed to whip up the soup for Alice while Natalie was out cold, scared Natalie might catch on. She always had this nagging feeling that Natalie knew something was up, but with Alice hurt, she couldn't keep her emotions in check.

It was all on her. She messed up. Shouldn't have done that back then. Regret was eating her alive, feeling guilty towards both Natalie and Alice.

Alice gave Rosalie a once-over, not too impressed with her shabby look, but still said, "Rosalie, take a seat."

Rosalie dished out the soup, and the smell filled the room. Alice was kinda hungry, especially since Renee's cooking was meh. After downing half a bowl, she turned to Rosalie, "Rosalie, I came to see you today 'cause I got something to tell you."

Alice leaned back in her chair. "My hand and leg are busted. In three months, Adrian's gonna marry me. You've seen me grow up, so I wanted to share the good news with you."

Rosalie was genuinely happy. Alice opening up to her made her day. She was stoked to be able to see Alice's wedding. "Ms. Cullen, I'll definitely be there at your wedding."

Alice nodded. "Of course, Rosalie, you've been there for me since I was a kid. Even though I've been a bit of a brat, I've always remembered your kindness. Like that time my mom hit me and banned me from chocolate. I was crying in the storage room, and you came to comfort me and snuck me a piece. And when I hated playing the piano 'cause my fingers hurt, you stayed with me and kept cheering me on."

Rosalie's eyes got misty. "I didn't think you'd remember all that." She knew Alice could be a handful, but deep down, she had a good heart.

Alice continued, "You've been so good to me, of course, I remember. I was just immature and sometimes rude to you. Hope you don't hold it against me."

Rosalie beamed. "I won't. All I care about is your happiness.."

Alice looked at Rosalie. "Rosalie, about you moving to another city."

Rosalie sighed, "I can go, but Natalie won't budge. She says her home is here, her dad and brother are here too. She doesn't wanna leave. Ms. Cullen, I know you and Natalie have beef."

It was a tough spot for her. She didn't really wanna leave either.

Alice narrowed her eyes. She knew Natalie wouldn't leave. Even though Rosalie was nice to her, getting her and Natalie to leave Vachilit was a no-go. So, Alice had cooked up another plan.

So what if Natalie liked Adrian? Adrian, whether pressured by public opinion or the Howard family, had to marry her.

With Natalie's lowly status, even if Adrian liked her, the Howard family would never accept her.

She wanted Natalie to attend her wedding!

She wanted Natalie to see her become Adrian's wife with her own eyes!

It didn't matter if Natalie entered the entertainment industry. At Dynamic Entertainment Media, no one could outshine Alice. Once she was back on her feet, the best gigs at Dynamic Entertainment Media would be hers. Before that, She'd let Natalie have her moment for a few more days.

Alice said, "Rosalie, I've made peace with it. Even though Natalie and I have our issues, we've known each other for years and grew up together. I'm getting hitched soon, and Natalie's still single. I got a good friend with a decent background. I wanna set him up with Natalie."

Rosalie hesitated a bit.
