Chapter 626 Rose Diamond
Diana said, "Of course, wrap it up!"
The sales guy grinned. "Yes, ma'am. Please wait for a moment."
Alice scoffed, "This is for my mom. No way she'd wear some tacky $2,000 necklace."
Diana buttered her up, "Alice, you’ve got killer taste. This one's a limited edition. Only two in the whole store."
Just as they bounced out of the store, a woman with shades strolled in.
The sales associate clocked her right away, even with the shades. "Ms. Swan."
Bella asked, "What did those two just buy?"
From outside, Bella had already peeped that it was Alice and Diana. This store was part of the Swan Group, and Bella was a regular here.
The sales associate said, "They snagged two necklaces, one freshwater pearl and one from our limited edition Eternal Rose diamond series."
Bella exclaimed, "One for over $2,000 and one for over $60,000? What's Alice scheming?"
The sales associate spilled the tea. Bella sneered, "I knew it, Alice is up to no good. She gave Rosalie something so cheap?"
Just then, more customers rolled in, and the sales associate had to go help them. Bella didn’t need any special treatment; she could just register whatever she wanted. She plopped down in the lounge area and whipped out her phone to call Natalie.
It took two tries before Natalie picked up.
Natalie's voice was soft and a bit sorry. "Just got off the plane and saw your call."
Bella filled Natalie in on Alice's cheap necklace for Rosalie. Natalie was stunned for a sec, then chuckled, "Alice just wants to put on a show."
Bella snorted, "Putting on a show without spending some cash? Giving Rosalie such a cheap necklace? She bought the latest diamond necklace from our store for Avery, one of only two in the whole city, for over $60,000."
At the airport entrance, a driver was waiting for Natalie. She hopped in the car, and Heather was already in there. Natalie said, "Maybe Rosalie will be super happy with it."
Bella sensed something off in Natalie's tone. Natalie had never called Rosalie by her name before and had always been super respectful. Bella figured Natalie and Rosalie had some beef. "I saw the trending news this morning. What's the deal with you and Alice? What happened to Rosalie?"
Natalie rubbed her temples and gave a quick rundown, "Rosalie fainted and got rushed to the hospital. Alice was there and tagged along. It happened last night. When I got there, Alice had bribed a reporter to snap secret pics of me, but I caught her."
Bella was confused. "Why would Alice take pics of you?"
Natalie smirked. "She probably wants to look like she cares deeply for Rosalie, while I, Rosalie's daughter, am nowhere to be found."
Bella got it and was fuming. "That's so shady! She's trying to make you look bad while she soaks up the praise! No way, I gotta teach Alice a lesson!"
Natalie said, "I already did last night. I had Heather bring a camera and film Alice for most of the night. Since Alice wants to play the caring role, let her. If she wants to put on a show, she should pay the price. If she wants to take care of Rosalie, let her. It's perfect."
