Chapter 346 A Silver Cufflink

11:00 AM.

The Greenwood Hotel.

In a basic single room, Colby woke up, still groggy. He looked around, confused. Where was he?

The plain white walls and cheap decor, even the uncomfortable bed, told him this wasn't home.

Then he noticed a woman's hand on his chest. Her fingers were fair, with light pink nail polish.

He was shocked.

Last night, he drank too much. The Imperial Nightclub had someone drive him home. He gave them his address, so why was he here?

He lifted the blanket and saw faint red marks on his chest, probably from the woman. He glanced at her, her hair covering her face, revealing only a delicate chin. She had a good figure, but he didn't recognize her.

Many women wanted to sleep with Colby. For a moment, Colby's eyes went dark.

He didn't know if this woman had tricked him or if he'd been set up.

Colby changed his clothes and was about to leave when he saw a red stain on the white sheets. He raised an eyebrow, surprised she was a virgin. He took some money from his wallet, tossed it on the bed, and left.

Sophie Hoilt woke up, feeling sore and uncomfortable.

She propped herself up and screamed.

She wasn't wearing any clothes?

And she felt a noticeable discomfort below. She quickly looked around. 'Where am I? How did I get here? What happened?' Her mind went blank, and her ears buzzed.

Then she saw the cash scattered on the bed.

A tear slid down her cheek.

She didn't know what happened last night. All she knew was she had been raped, and she didn't even know what the person looked like.

Sophie, 22, raised with good manners and self-respect, had never had a boyfriend. And now, she had been raped.

She didn't cry for long. She quickly got up, picked up her clothes from the floor, and put them on. She didn't take any of the money; she just felt humiliated.

The red stain on the white sheets was glaring.

The pain below told her she was no longer a virgin.

Her fingers clenched tightly as she turned to leave. Then she noticed something shiny on the floor.

She bent down and picked up a silver cufflink encrusted with diamonds. It looked custom-made. Could it have been left by the man from last night?

A silver cufflink, encrusted with diamonds.

But this was just an ordinary hotel, and the cufflink looked expensive, clearly belonging to someone with good taste.

She decided to keep it for now.

Sophie didn't leave the hotel immediately. She wanted to run out, but reason led her to the front desk.

"Hello, I'd like to know who checked into room 306 last night?" she asked.

The receptionist looked at her. "I'm sorry, but I can't provide guest information."

Sophie pleaded. "Please, I need to know..."

The receptionist remained firm. "Sorry, it's our policy to protect guest privacy."

Sophie bit her lip, took out a stack of cash, and handed it to the receptionist. "I need to know who checked into room 306 last night."

The receptionist hesitated.
