Chapter 394 Jealousy
Lucky totally missed the ball and started barking like crazy, trying to get Adrian to toss it back.
Adrian stared at the ball in his hand. "Didn't know you had that in you."
"I can do a lot more than you think," Natalie chimed in.
Adrian shot back, "You got a gift for Lucky, but what about me? Where's my present?"
"Why are you comparing yourself to a dog? I promised Lucky this last time I was here. The ball's made from Lucky's own fur." She walked over, bent down, and gave Lucky a good head scratch. "Big dogs like Lucky shed every year. Save the fur, and you can make an even bigger ball for him."
Lucky was bouncing around, clearly annoyed that Adrian wasn't giving up the ball.
Lucky jumped super high, but Adrian just held the ball higher, making it impossible for Lucky to reach. Lucky spun around, all anxious.
Natalie sighed. "Just give it to him already. Why are you teasing him?"
She couldn't believe Adrian was being so childish. Was he seriously jealous over a dog toy? Unreal.
She remembered she had a scarf in her bag, one she had knitted but messed up a bit. She usually wore it to keep the wind out. "Alright, I'll give you a gift too."
She pulled out the scarf. "I knitted this myself. It's not perfect. I know you won't like it."
"How do you know I won't like it?" Adrian took it and started laughing. Natalie's face turned red, and she tried to grab it back. "I knew you wouldn't like it. Why are you laughing? I knitted it all night. I almost forgot how to knit. It was hard to finish, and I only missed two stitches. Besides, it's black, so you can't even tell when you wear it inside."
She was just messing with Adrian. She knew a guy like him, who wore luxury brands and suits costing a fortune, wouldn't care for a scarf she had casually knitted with missed stitches.
Adrian wrapped the scarf around his neck. "Hmm, it's nice."
Natalie looked at him. "Really?"
Adrian nodded firmly. "Really."
Natalie smiled. "Then, when I have time, I'll knit you a better one."
Adrian smiled back. "Okay."
Lucky watched them anxiously, and Adrian laughed, tossing the ball forward. "Here you go, go fetch."
Lucky happily dashed out.
Adrian took Natalie's hand and led her upstairs. Suddenly, there were some heavy footsteps behind him. Lucky ran over with the ball in its mouth. Adrian rubbed his forehead, thinking that sometimes Lucky was really a pain.
Taking out his phone, Adrian called the servant Ophelia Fisher. "Ophelia, come to Bayview Villa and take Lucky away. Bring him back tonight."
Ophelia responded, "Yes."
Lucky, shaking his little head, had no clue his day was already planned out.
Bayview Villa had a private screening room with high-end massage chairs.
Adrian handed the iPad to Natalie. "Pick something to watch."
Natalie glanced at it and suddenly blushed. She swiped a few pages and saw the porn films, glaring at Adrian. Adrian said, "Why are you looking at me? How would I know your preference?"
Natalie bit her lip and puffed her cheeks.
Adrian drawled in a sexy, husky voice. "Oh, I get it. You like those from Japana?"
"Nonsense!" Natalie blushed and threw the iPad at him.
